Los Olivos and La Cancela are set in a beautiful, tranquil valley just 5 minutes to the north of Ronda. The houses are part of a 4 acre property with beautiful landscaped gardens and orchards of olive and citrus, walnut and almond, quince and medlar. From the villas there are spectacular views of the Sierra de las Nieves to the east and rolling farmland to the west. Both villas have been luxuriously equipped and furnished. Bedding and mattresses are top of the range, all furnishings have been stylishly combined and all equipment is of the very best. Each house has its own independent entrance and its own beautiful pool, which are secreted away amongst exuberant gardens. These are no ordinary rental properties and the villas reflect the owners love of the Better Things in Life. There is masses of space for families. Both houses have airy lounge-diners with comfy sofas and Casablanca style fans. Each villa has a large area of terrace for al fresco dining. WIRELESS INTERNET AVAILABLE.

Finca Maridadi is the home of the owner and reflects her immaculate taste in antiques, furnishings and paintings. The master bedroom is 15m long with an enormous en-suite bathroom. There are 4 further double bedrooms and bathrooms. The garden is a sheer delight with terracing all around and a covered flower filled terrace facing the pool for Al fresco dining. The garden has some magnificent trees and vines, as well as a vegetable garden, fish pond and orchard and there are sun loungers to relax on under the shade of the walnut trees. All the rooms are light and airy and the furnishings, fittings, bed linen are of the highest quality. The kitchen dining room has an antique dining table seating 12 and the kitchen has a 6 burner Range cooker with 2 ovens. There are 2 large fridge/freezers and microwave and dishwasher. There is a separate laundry room with washing machine and dryer. The owner Caro is an excellent cook and willing to cater for guests on request.

Los Olivos and La Cancela are just a ten minute drive from Ronda, one of Europe's most spectacular hilltop towns. Ronda's beautiful historic centre contains many churches and elegant mansions dating back to the 15th century. To the east of the town is the pristine Sierra de las Nieves National Park, recently declared a Unesco Biosphere reserve and just ten minutes to the west is the Grazalema Park, home to some of the most diverse flora and fauna in Spain. A series of traditional 'Pueblos Blancos' (white villages) are all within easy driving distance. The walking here is amongst the best in Europe. There are many restaurants and typical 'tapas' bars very close to the farm and awaiting you at Los Olivos and La Cancela you will find a booklet listing the owners' many favourite eateries. One of Europe's most spectacular train lines runs close by and a highlight of any stay here would be to take the train journey through deep gorges south from Ronda. Sevilla and Granada are close by.

  • The five bedrooms at Finca Maridadi are all differently decorated and have their own distinct character. The master bedroom is huge with the most comfortble super kingsize bed. The en-suite bathroom is also larger than normal with bath, separate shower, 2 basins, bidet and WC. The other 2 dble bedded rooms have en-suite shower rooms and the 2 twin-bedded rooms on the ground floor share a bathroom. Four of the bedrooms open a large terrace. The bedlinen and towels are of the highest quality. All bedrooms have overhead fans to keep you cool during the hotter summer months and Central heating, duvets and electric blankets to keep you cozy in winter. All the bedroom lights are on dimmer switches. Every bedroom has a large built-in wardrobe and drawers. Each room also has a dressing table and chair/stool. Hair dryers can be provided on request
