These cottages have been in my family for over 50 years, and when I was growing up I spent a lot of time here. Our cottages are truly my favorite place on Earth. The water on Torch Lake is cool, clean, deep, and incredibly beautiful. On a still day, you will see blues, indigos, greens, and teals. At night, often the wind will blow, and you will hear the waves breaking on the beach when you're falling asleep. The cottages have enough land and beach that it is peaceful and secluded. But they're also close to Lake Michigan, Traverse City, and Charlevoix. In the winter time, many of Michigan's major ski resorts - Boyne, Schuss, Shanty Creek, Nub's Nob, are within a 45 minute drive. Torch Lake is definitely a very special place.
