Weekly cleaning, (that means you arrive to a spotlessly clean apartment & we clean the flat after you go). We provide all bed linen, towels & bathrobes. EXTRAS, (NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE) : We offer extra deep cleaning for 20 euros/ hr in case you require more than the standard daily cleaning which is included in the price of our accomodation package. ECOLOGICAL MISSION STATEMENT: Isra Eco-Chalet is the only commercial Ecological Lodging Project in the Chamonix valley. Solar panels provide under floor heating & hot water. Isra Eco-Chalet has it's own natural spring & we provide Nikken filtered reorganised drinking water. There is naturally diffused biological aromatherapy throughout the chalet. Rented alone Isra is 180m2 & accommodates 8 people, (that's 3 couples & 2 children), in spacious luxury. The Chalet has a private double garage for your exclusive use. There is a washing machine, dryer, dedicated dryer/airing room & ample storage/drying space for skiing kit in heated self-draining cupboards on the ground floor. The sauna & spa with its own sound system is on the ground floor. Upstairs is a 550ft2 open plan living room, with wrap-around picture windows designed to give the sensation of living in the stunning wild landscape that Isra chalet nestles in. The bedrooms are on the top floor with the two South facing rooms sharing a balcony & a panoramic view dominated by the Mont Blanc. Chalet Isra is one of only 3 Chalets in Les Houches & Servoz to have gained 5 Star status & we are proud to be the first & only ecological holiday chalet in the French Alps.

About Mary-Gaël TRAMON

I was born in Cockermouth (near Carlisle) in the Lake District. Since then I travelled a lot with my family: my father worked in mining and we moved to Guyana and then Sierra Leone when I was a child. As an adult I continued to travel, living in Tamil Nadu (South India) for two years and spending most of the last 28 years in France. I was drawn to the mountains and gravitated to the Chamonix Valley where I finally put down roots. I have worked for the last 12 years for a very large American executive jet operator. I fly the Falcon 2000 EASy, mainly in Europe, Eastern Europe and also in Africa, the Middle East and sometimes the USA. Before that I flew military airwork missions for FR Aviation in Bournemouth. I have one daughter, Mary-Gaël: she helps run Isra Chalet by fielding all enquiries.

Why Mary-Gaël TRAMON chose Les Houches

I had Isra Eco-Chalet and Spa purpose build to my specifications. The land that Isra Chalet is built on found me: each time I came down the road from Chamonix there was a pience of hillside above Servoz that always had sun shining on it and I ended up buying it! The inspiration to build a place to welcome visitors came to me after a year of walking on the land and meditating there. The idea came in the form of a drawing that I made in a few minutes after a year of visiting: this drawing is what transformed into the finished project. I dreamt of creating a place to welcome families. Isra was conceived as a place of healing and calm. It was designed using Feng-Shui to enhance the initial inspiration and this can be seen in many of the details. Ecology is a strong element of the design too; we use solar panels to supply both hot water as well as underfloor heating. Our spring water is used for watering the organic vegetable garden.

What makes this chalet unique

I taylor made Isra Eco-Chalet to welcome families. We provide a beautiful home space where those who may not want to visit the slopes can spend their holidays enjoying a beautiful, sun bathed, healthy environment with plenty to do at home. There is broadband Wi-Fi, a comprehensive media centre, a sauna, table tennis, trampoline, sun terraces and a library. Servoz is calm, the kids can play in the garden and grandparents can take easy walks all around the Isra Chalet while those who wish for more challenging activities go to the Les Houches or Chamonix ski resorts.

  • The above charges are for the ISRA Eco-Chalet WITHOUT THE 4 PERSON APARTMENT. Isra Eco- Chalet alone SLEEPS 8, -that's 6 adults & 2 children. NB: - Chalet Isra 5 star status. We are one of only three in Les Houches/ Servoz to have this.

    NB you will still have exclusive access to the sauna area using this formula but you may have another group renting the Apartment.
  • Marc SERRES & his Chef, (recently from the famous1 star michelin 'Albert 1st' restaurant at Chamonix), do our catering for an amazing €350 per adult per week offering a snack at the return from the slopes & a full dinner menu in the evening, (€195 for children under 14 & free for toddlers under 3).. The meals are delivered ready to be warmed up for serving. Please book in advance! with Astrid.

    Outside caterers can be arranged.

This place is great ! Adam Firth and his team put lots of effort and heart blood into this chalet. Even during rainy days we really enjoyed our vacation. Also worth mentioning: The perfect service provided by the chalet management (Astrid).
Bottom line: really worth the money !

Just Perfect

My family and I have been searching for a cozy get away for quite some time, and we found just that at Isra Chalet! Every morning we would wake up to the stunning panoramic views of the Mont Blanc, and every night, we would watch high definition movies in 5.1 surround sound in the private home theater. It was just the perfect place for the family. Large and Spacious, we had the whole place to ourselves. Not to mention the sauna, the boot heater, the ping-pong table, and the fully-equiped kitchen.

Finally, Adam was a great host. He made sure the snow was cleared from the steps, and that everything went smooth for us!

I highly recommend this place!

Nous avons passé une semaine idéale, dans l'appartement du chalet. L'accueil est irréprochable et nous tenons à remercier tout particulièrement M. Firth pour sa gentillesse et son sens de l'hospitalité. L'appartement lui même est très agréable, confortable et aménagé avec gout. La terrasse "privée" donne sur le Mont Blanc, ce qui ajoute à la beauté du site. Si vous aimez le calme, les paysages grandioses des Alpes et les randonnées, c'est l'endroit rêvé, car de nombreux itinéraires partent du village de Servoz. Le soucis du respect de l'environnement et la conception même du chalet ajoutent encore à la quiétude du lieu...

The ISRA Eco-Chalet is truly an amazing and relaxing accommodation experience. My wife and I spent 5 days enjoying the comforts of the well designed, smart technology and eco friendly luxurious chalet. The chalet itself was immaculate and very tastefully appointed. It was also very well equipped with everything you would possibly need for cooking a large meal for family to hair dryers in the bathroom and a modern washer and dryer. The owner Adam greeted us upon our arrival to show us all of the features of the chalet to ensure we made the best of our stay. This is no ordinary holiday rental. The small details made it special...fresh -cut flowers throughout the living & dining rooms, flavored espresso caps provided for the gourmet espresso machine, and relaxing spa music and aromatherapy in the sauna room. The ISRA Eco-Chalet is located on a hill in a beautiful small village called Servoz and only 12 minutes from downtown Chamonix. It's the perfect location for privacy, but close enough to all the excitement of a world class resort town. The ISRA Eco-Chalet is an excellent choice. The owner and management were wonderful to deal with and they go out of their way to make sure your holiday is special. We will definitely return!

We had a wonderful stay in the chalet. This is a great place to relax with stunning views of Mont Blanc especially at sunset. The chalet is fully equipped and has everything one needs for a relaxing stay. Thanks to Astrid and Adam for the warm welcome. We will definitely recommend the chalet to friends.
