Calabay Parc Vacation Rental villa: Calabay Parc Tower Lake

An easy drive from the airport - about 40 minutes, the villa is in a quiet, gated development, just off the H27. The villa is well maintained, being very spacious and airy. Great facilities in the pool and jaccuzzi, games room in the garage and washing machine and dryer hidden away in the kitchen. The availability of the wi-fi was handy for checking in on-line before heading to the airport.

Couple of supermarkets close by with a number of restaurants - everything from Waffle House, Cracker Barrel to McDonalds and Mannys for great steak & margaritas!

Well sited for shopping, we particularly liked the Mall at Millennia and the Florida Mall, lots of coffee places and good restaurants - Tuscan Brio Grille at Millennia had great pork chops and Ruby Tuesday's at Florida Mall did brilliant burgers. The Premium Outlet mall, just off the I4 offered some great bargains.

No trip to Florida would be complete without a visit to the Mouse House, it's a 20 minute drive to Disney, easy to get around, definitley recommend the Tower of Terror at the Hollywood Studios. International Drive with it's attractions and restaurants is a short drive away. Also look out for the Art of Animation store at Downtown Disney where coloured pencil sketches of your favourite characters can be bought!

The drawer of leaflets & recommendations pack left by the owners was really useful. if you fancy something different from the theme parks, try Old Town (near Kissimee) for car & bike shows from Thurs-Sat night each week with a few fairground rides thrown in for good measure.

Great for couples, families or groups - we have recommended this place to our families and friends. We're already booked to come back in 2010 as we there's still so much more to see in Orlando.

My husband & I spent two fantastic weeks at this beautiful villa. It is furnished to a very high standard, is amazingly spacious and superbly clean.
The villa is about 40mins drive from Orlando airport and good directions were provided. Coming back into orlando for the theme parks, etc was a short 20min drive.
The pool gets the sun most of the day, so ideal for sunbathing on down days from the parks and it's great to watch the sun set whilst reading the latest novel in the jaccuzzi. Indoors, the games in the garage kept us entertained and the library helped the holiday reading along!
Close by are Publix and Walmart stores for supplies - the dishwasher, stove and bbq made it easy to look after ourselves but there are also some great restaurants if you just can't be bothered - Manny's is a particular favourite, where you can experience true American hospitality by eating in or take away if a night in front of the tv is more in order!
We spent some amazing days at Walt Disney World, enjoying a fine meal at the Chefs de Paris restaurant in Epcot and great lunch at Spoodles on the Boardwalk near Epcot.
Should you need a bit of shade, head for Ripley's believe or not in central Orlando - full of curiosities you won't have seen before!
We had a fabulous time out here and the team looking after the villa were very accommodating of our late departure to allow us to spend most of our last day in the pool.

I would definitely recommend this villa to family and friends and in fact...we loved it so much we're coming back again!

Firstly the photos do not do this villa justice at all. The place was spotless and extremely tastefully decorated. It had something for everybody. The games room was a great hit with the children there was a pool table, table tennis table and other items that kept them entertained on the odd occasion we were at the villa and not in the pool or jaccuzi. The outdoor area was safe for younger children to as the pool had a fence around it and comfortable loungers to soak up the sun on. Each room has its own bathroom and the fitted kitchen complete with washing machine and tumble dryer meant I could return home with no washing to do when I got back. The villa is situated close to walmart and publix which has everything you require. It is also about 20 minutes from the majority of the attraction parks which was great.Our favourite was the Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios Parks and not forgetting the fireworks at 10pm as the parks close. There was also many restaurants that are close by such as Mannys for the most amazing steaks and the service, well what can I say - brilliant. The Black Angus on International Drive is another along with Planet Hollywood and The Rainforest Cafe at Downtown Disney. There is so much to do that 2 weeks just isn't enough time. I would definately recommend this property to friends and family and as we enjoyed the whole experience and accomodation we will definately be returning next year to the same place. Another thing that was useful was the information pack left by the owners letting you know of the local ammenities and valuable information. They do seem to have thought of everything to make your holiday one that you'll never forget for all of the right reasons.
