Set in tranquil surroundings with very pleasant garden overlooking olive grove with views down to Cap D`Antibes. Idyllic private sunbathing;Large outdoor pool (12m by 5.5m,with pool alarm) in sun all day set on a lower terrace protected by railings with a few steps down to the pool. Covered terrace with outdoor dining, barbecue. Well maintained mature, mostly lawned garden with beautiful vegetation; 11 olive trees, palms, mimosas and fruit trees.

The provencal village of Le Rouret is just 5 minutes walk away. Medieval town of Valbonne with its arcaded square, pedestrianised streets full of artisan shops and great selection of restaurants is a 10 minute drive. Nearest beach is Cagnes-sur -mer 10 km away,the beaches of Cannes, Jean les pins and Antibes are 15-20 km away.

Nearby attractions: Nearest beach is Cagnes-sur -mer 10 km away, the beaches of Cannes, Jean les pins and Antibes are 15-20 km. For children,Marineland, Antibes, one of Europe's largest fun parks, includes:Aquasplash, a thrilling sea-theatre with orcas and seals, a wild west show, La Petite Ferme and Adventure Golf. Perfume, art and maritime museums in Grasse are 10km away and the Renoir museum in nearby Cagnes-Sur-Mer. The art galleries of St Paul de Vence are at 15km.

Restaurants and shops: At least three restaurants within walking distance are mentioned in a well known gourmet food guide. Supermarket and local shops are a 5 minutes walk.

Local villages: The 12th-century Eglise Saint Blaise and the attached Chalaisien Abbey in the local village of Valbonne is worth a visit by a 10 minutes drive.Every Friday there is a local market. Also worth a visit is Gourdon (15km) one of the most picturesque of all the perched villages. It's rated as one of the Plus Beaux Villages de France, and well deserves the title. The village is full of little boutiques with perfume products and an early-17th-century fortress. The château originated as a Saracen fortress in the 9th-12th centuries that evolved into a 13th-century château, and was completely rebuilt in 1610. The view from the edge of the village you can see most of the coast from Nice to Cannes, all the way to the Esterel; and the Gorges du Loup below.

Golf: La Grande Bastide GC, Opio is just 5 minutes away. Opio-Valbonne GC 10 minutes, Grasse country club 15 minutes, Royal Mougins GC, Cannes 25 minutes.

This villa was well presented with helpful people.
Accurate description of facilities
Clean & up-together.
Very quiet & private with superb views.
A pleasant and memorable stay , sorry we had to leave.
Good shops/bar a few minutes drive away.
Would look forward to booking this one again.

Perfect Villa

We are quite fussy when choosing our holiday Villa and we have just returned from our second stay, that in itself speaks volumes. We are a family of 5 adults with no children and we go to relax, read books, sip wine, laze around the pool and generally chill out. The Villa is perfect for us, good space, comfortable, clean & well presented with excellent bathroom facilities and a well equipped kitchen. The garden is pretty and well kept, the pool is a stunner. Although set quietly in the hills the villa is well positioned for lots of shortish excursions (approx 15mins) ie pretty hill top villages & the beach etc. Although not ideal walking distance the local shopping complex is only 5 mins by car and as well as a supermarket offers a selection of other shops providing a variety of all you need. If I were pushed very hard my only teeny weenie criticism would be the cushions for the sun loungers are a bit on the skimpy side, and that's probably because we are not as young as we'd like and do actually spend quite a lot of time lazing on them ??. This Villa feels like home and I suspect we will definitely want to book again next year. We have stayed at many different Villas in the region over the years and although all them have offered similar we have never felt compelled to return as we did with this Villa. I would have no hesitation in recommending this Villa.

Great place to go

Just come back from 2 weeks here and it was fab. The location is nice and tucked away in the hills but you have great views of the see in the distance. It is peaceful and tranquil and has a really great pool. The villa is very large so easily fits a family (we had 4 teenagers and they had lots of space).
It is clean and tidy and the bathrooms etc are spot on. Marcus the guy who meets you to let you in etc is really friendly and you can get lots of info from him. All the things you may want are there including internet which is great.
It is about 20 mins from the motorway once on it Cannes port is about 10 mins, waterpark about 30 mins and Monaco is about 45 mins.
Need to go to Cannes in the evening as it is a great place with restaurants and music and a market. St Paul De Vence is and absolute must for anyone and is not far. St Tropez is a bit of a treck in the car but I personally would not bother there as Cannes is so much better.
The shops are a bit too far to really walk if you have kids however the supermarket is only 5 mins in the car and has everything and at a good price so is very useful.
I would definitely recommend this to my friends (already have) and would come back if in the region again.
