Hello Jane,
Just a quick email to thank you for all your help - we are now home and back into the horrible dark days, but the holiday was fabulous. Gaucin is a wonderful village, it helped that my other half speaks fluent Spanish, and despite the weather, I think we met a few of the local characters! We love the villa, although the pool was a little refreshing even for us, so we hope to be able to return at some point and make better use of it. We ended up having dinner and a night in La Fructuosa, which was also excellent and the drive back and forward was very simple once we had mastered the driveway!
It was just what we needed as our last holiday before I cant fly any more, so despite the showers, when it cleared up the views were stunning and we made good use of the log burner!
I hope everything was left satisfactorily, we spoke to the cleaner as we left and she seemed happy, so I will add this to my list of favourites and we may well be in touch again once things have settled down.
Thank you again on behalf of myself and Gregor, my other half, we thought it was beautiful, peaceful area and well worth the trip.
