It is ideally located on the second row of the famous Promenade des Anglais just 50m from the beach. The old town of Nice with all the beauty of the markets and squares is within easy reach. Nice is a beautiful vibrant city with everything for a great family holiday or a romantic break. This property would be a perfect place from which you could base your vacation. The apartment benefits from air conditioning in the lounge and master bed, ideal for those hot summer weeks. Located on the 4th floor with access to a modern style lift gives the splendid views out into the bay and across the front of Nice itself from your own private balcony. Grocery stores are yards away, as is a beautiful bakery for those fresh croissants and bread every morning! There is an excellent bus service with the stop right outside the apartment if you want to venture further still.
Ski: This property could be used for a ski due to its proximity to the Alps but please note it is not on location and would require a drive.

I chose this property because of the location. It is so close to the sea, offers great views from the balcony and also close to the airport for quick get aways!

Have just come back from a lovely week staying at this appartment in Nice. The appartment was very spacious, clean and well equipped. Although it is a little out of town centre we found the most enjoyable way to get into town was to bike alone the promenade on the velo bleus - this was one of the highlights of the holiday! There was a group of 5/6 of us for the majority of the stay and the appartment suited all of our needs. Highly recommended, we'll hopefully be going back!
The property was very spacious and clean and accommodated all our needs. It is a short 2 min walk to the beach. There was a bustop directly outside the property to take you in the direction of the airport and a short walk up the street another bus stop to take you in the other direction.
We have 10 days made use of the apartment, it is a lovely apartment, on a fantastic location, we were welcomed very friendly,, the contact was good. We have a total of 8 people slept there including 2 small children. The apartment is fully equipped (only 1 min it lacked a large sharp knife tip, we (for the baquette;-)) and a slightly larger (soup) pan, in order for us to Cook, pair) but that we have in themselves creatively solved! So in a word defined Perfect
Had a fantastic time in Nice, we chose the same location to stay as we such a great time last time. Alex is very easy to deal with and is always there for any queries. The apartment was excellent and just what we needed for a quiet get away!

I spent 8 months (Sept 2010 - April 2011) in Nice with my 9 year old son and could not have asked for a better apartment. The location was perfect; only steps to the famous promenade and beautiful beaches and a lovely bakery, grocery store, pizza place and cafe less than a block and only a 10 minute walk to the University where I was studying. The location also has great access to buses(only 1 euro) that allow for easy travel around the city and to old Nice. Also, the bike rentals are just beside the apartment and offer a nice, quick travel to the city centre.
Alex was extremely helpful and patient while I was getting set up and also very undersanding as my needs changed and I needed to leave early and return home.
The apartment is very spacious and allowed for many group study dates, which students in my class not only commented on how spacious the apartment was but also how well the internet worked even when we were all using it.(They experienced many little black-outs at their apartments.)
The apartment was clean and easy to care for, and had all the amenities I needed.

Main criteria for our stay in July 2010 -very hot summer!- were air-conditioning and lift. Rental amount was totally paid beforehand as requested.
Air-con being out of order when we checked-in, we could not and did not stay in the apartment. Mr Bolton initially refused any compensation; after much negotiations by email, he finally agreed, end of August, to refund 40% of total amount ... that as at today 06/02/11 has never been credited into our account !
Very disappointing attitude to the least...
Nice has been a popular tourist destination for centuries. Nice is a centre of activities for dining, shopping, sunbathing, swimming, movies, theatres, opera, museums, or just strolling along the Promenade des Anglais and enjoying the good life. There are parks and playgrounds all around Nice. Places to sit in the shade and rest your feet during a day of shopping or sightseeing and let the kid’s burn off some energy. Or if partying late into the night is more your scene then wander into the old town and experience the night life that ends when you do! The property is ideally located for all your needs, with local amenities on the doorstep.
The apartment is a 10 min walk from the famous Negresco hotel. Why not enjoy strolling along the promenade taking in the vibrant Nice atmosphere at any time of the day.
Whilst in Nice why not explore the other famous locations along the Cote de Azur such as Cannes, St Tropez and Monoco; all short journeys ideal for day trips.

The charges are for the apartment as a whole and are independent on numbers of guests although an additional laundary charge for 6-8 guests may be charged in addition to cover the costs of laundary.
There is a 130 euro service charge for the apartment that includes all towels and linen.
Rental charges for part week bookings are negotiable as applicable.
Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency (GBP) unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.
