Just round the corner you can find supermarkets, laundry, bank, bars, restaurants, pharmacy, a dentist and a doctor are all within one block The Sunny TERRACE overlooks Park can seem like a break from the busy city and is wonderful for relaxing enjoying the sunny days. A leisurely breakfast or evening wine on the terrace just set the mood for each enjoyable day of discovery. Set in downtown Barcelona on the tree-lined avenue Paseo Pujades. It is an ideal location to explore the city with all its treasures, very close to all attractions and transportation. You are within walking distance to nearly all the sights but you can escape the crowds of the Old City with just a short walk. Supermarkets, bank, restaurants, buses are on the doorstep and the BEACHES are a 10 min.walk Along the way to the traditional food market “Santa Caterina” you can stop in one of numerous terrace cafes and within a few minutes you´ll be in one of the classic medieval areas with its narrow streets - a neighbourhood known as EL BORN.A great buzzing area to soak up the atmosphere, sitting on the terraces by day and sip cocktails by night. CIUTADELLA PARK (Central Park of Barcelona) is the perfect place to relax or if you fancy to go for a jog. It houses the Barcelona Zoo.

The location was perfect with the beautiful park across the street, the excellent coffee shop down the block and close to all transportation. We had 3 stops in Spain and thanks to Dolores, Barcelona was the best! She gave us a personal walking tour and took us to the best basque Tapas restaurant. She was a joy to be around. The apartment was everything we hoped, quiet and perfectly equipped. A wonderful memory, indeed.

Name: frances - UK Comment: Collected at the airport by Dolores which made the journey very easy. Compact, immaculate apartment overlooking Ciutadella Park. An ideal location for exploring barcelona. Lots of sights within walking distance. Would definitely recommend apartment and most definitely Dolores's car tours which Dolores introduced us to some parts of the city that were most interesting and that we would otherwise have missed.

Dolores is a true ambassador to her city. We have three young daughters who travelled with us and Dolores made us all feel very welcomed. She drove us around to all the sights, even fantastic things that are not in the guide books. We had great conversations with her over tapas in the evenings and she even met us at the train station when we arrived.

Especially interesting was our outing with you because we would not have seen any of those areas of Barcelona without your help, not to mention the Tapas evening.

Charming, sunny,central,safe apartment

I have stayed at Dolores apartment on several occasions. The location is very central. Walking distance to downtown, the beach, and the train station. The area is very safe and charming with the beautiful Parque de la Ciutadella in front of the building. There are also grocery shops nearby. The apartment is spotless and fully equipped. Dolores is a wonderful lady, very easy going and most helpful. Don’t hesitate to stay at this lovely apartment and meet Dolores.

Barcelona apartment opposite Ciutadela Park

This WAS a clean and charming apartment in a good location for accessing many of the Barcelona attractions on foot. Naturally, the Park and also the Gothic Quarter, the Ramblas, Port Vell and Barceloneta are all within walking distance. There are a number of cafes and restaurants within a few minutes walk, some with the menu in English, though I'd still advise getting aquainted with the Catalan for the tapas. The metro and station are about 10 minutes walk away, the latter being handy (and cheap) for our day-trip to Taragonna.
Upon our late evening arrival we received a very warm and friendly welcome from Delores,who was also very accomodating when it came to leaving luggage on the last day as our flights were yet again late evening. Delores provides plenty of helpful advice and information on where to go and what to see. We thoroughly enjoyed out stay here.
Though small, the kitchen is clean and has all that's needed, while a supermarket is conveniently situated just around the corner. The bedrooms are a reasonable size facing into an interior 'well' and there is extra bedding if this is needed. The balcony is a plus; we were able to enjoy a meal or glass of wine while watching the world go by. (My husband has now aquired the nick-name Norris after the nosey Corrie character!)
However, a couple of minor points ..... the main road between the balcony and the park can be 'a little busy at times' and also, take into consideration that you are staying in an apartment block, though it's by no means as noisy as staying in the Gothic Quarter. Also, since we arrived late, a few basic items in the kitchen would have been welome such as milk, orange juice and a few biscuits, though there were a few teabags and coffee to tide us over till the morning. These were only minor negatives and I'd recommend this apartment to anyone looking for basic, clean and well-situated accomodation.

Lovely apartment , perfectly situaded

This was my third stay in Dolores lovely apartment. It is perfectly situated for easy access to the old city, park over the road, buses and metro. Dolores is a wonderful host, helpful and very knowledgeable. Barcelona is such a fantastic city, if you want to visit do stay here! See you again Dolores.

Spring break in Barcelona

The apartment was ideally situated with a bus stop right outside the apartment. Dolores was very helpful and gave us lots of information that helped to make sure we had a memorable trip. The apartment was clean and we enjoyed having our breakfast out on the small balcony. There was a supermarket just around the corner - ideal for any shopping. A great location for a memorable holiday in Barcelona.
