The house offers a 1,130 sqft 3 bedroom apartment composed of one first independent floor (with 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and an individual WC) making it ideal for children and a nice wooden loft (on 3 levels) starting at the 2nd floor with the kitchen opening to the lounge/living room and a third bedroom (with a private shower room and WC), each room lying on its own level. The entire apartment is decorated and furnished with care. This bright and sunny apartment (because of several roof windows) is nevertheless cold even in summer because of the air conditioning situated in the loft area. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern and recent domestic appliances. In the living room, you will find a wide LCD TV with Satellite programs, a DVD player, and a HI-FI tuner. Nestled neatly away from the noise in a quiet street but superbly situated nevertheless (still just seconds from where the action is), the townhouse has everything on its doorstep. The Picasso Museum in the Chateau Grimaldi & the impressing Roman Cathedral are incredibly nearby (150 meters). Just around 2 corners you can buy fresh food at the Provencale every days market as you'll be in no time at the white sand beaches (150m), the luxurious yacht-harbour (100m), in lovely restaurants, interesting shops or famous museums. When you're coming back you'll profit from the amazing atmosphere of this exceptional house in quietness. Just 150 meters away lies Gravette beach - a lovely sheltered sandy beach that benefits from a breakwater that makes it particularly safe for children. It is also located near many bus stops and SNCF train station (with a T.G.V. stop) at 10mn walk, to all cities around. A vehicle is not necessary but a parking space, very close to the house is also available.

Additional information about rental rates

  • The prices are due to the owner without any transaction costs. Prices in table are for the whole apartment up to 6 people. They can be different upon options you select (see below) and number of people depending of the rented period but not in peak season. For more than 3 weeks, there is a 10% discount.
    In options as additional charges :
    - a set of linen (towels and bed linens) : +10 Euros a week per person;
    - a parking space for 1 vehicle (100m) : +35 Euros a week;
    About 20% of the rental price due to the owner is required to confirm the definitive booking. The remaining amount of the balance is due 8 weeks (2 months) before arrival. We also require a refundable damage deposit of 900€ as a warranty payable at your arrival, the first day of the stay.
    All payments can either be made by bank cheque or bank transfer or online by credit card on a secure bank website.
  • In July and August bookings should be a minimum of two weeks, although one week bookings will be accepted when available between fortnightly occupancy.
    Changeover Day can be flexible according airport tickets.
    We can welcome you at the airport and drive you to the apartment (free of charges).

Over 40 nationalities own property there and English is spoken everywhere. Antibes also boasts the largest and deepest port on the Mediterranean, welcoming the largest yachts with their Anglo-Saxon crews. But there are very few hotels, so when the sun sets, Antibes becomes 'local' with its cosmopolitan flair. Antibes is really a dream city. Perfect location in the middle of everything but calm especially in the old city which to 400 BC (it used to be Antipolis). Perfect destination for sun, sport, dining, theatre, culture etc. Easy access to public transportation and cities around : Many bus stops : 100m, to all cities around (Cannes, Nice, Monaco). Train station (TGV stop) : 10mn walking distance (To Cannes : 10mn; To Nice : 20mn).

Parking situation: Usually - with very few exceptions - there are no car parks and direct access by car to the houses in the old town. But, our townhouse is in the privileged situation because residents can drive just in front of the main entrance and park their car for a few minutes in the small street (ideal to bring luggage or shopping). Additionally a parking card for the harbour is at the disposal for the renters for a extra cost of 35 euros a week. So, you can be sure to have a parking space in a guarded car park very close to the house (100m, behind the ramparts, just in front of the luxurious yachts) which is strongly recommended in peak season (during summer).

(Russia), from the 01st to 15th September 2006 - 2 weeks : 'The apartment is very well located in the old town of Antibes within less than 5-minutes’ walk to the beach, market, shops and the railway station. Although it is next to the restaurant area, thanks to its situation in a quite side street you don’t really hear a lot of noise. The apartment is very clean and all the kitchen equipment is in a very good condition. The owner made us feel very welcome and most kindly offered to take us from and to the Nice airport. Overall, we spent wonderful two weeks in this apartment in September and would surely recommend it.'

Great home, Wonderful host

The house was very much as we expected. Tidy, fully furnished and a great location.

Close to the beach and within the city walls, the apartment was in the perfect location. Patrick (the owner) was very helpful in helping us to and from the train station, which was within walking distance - he made the stay very easy.

We brought 3 kids - aged 7, 3 and 2 - and while we had no issues, the house has spiral stairs (which were challenging for the little ones) and some little drops that made us nervous. In the end, all went well.

Because the apartment is narrow and with natural light only on the front side windows or sky lights, the apartment could feel a little tight - but as we were out of the house 12 hours of the day out at the beach, walking around the city or otherwise, it was not an issue.

The fully functional kitchen was great as it allowed us to prepare a big breakfast and a few snacks for the day. Generally, we ate dinners out - there were many restaurants within a short walk.

Tips for future renters:
The beach nearby is one of the smaller ones but has the most character, there are others just a little further. We ended up walking to the beach in Juan Les Pins (there is a little shuttle train) as the beaches were sandier and a little more spread out.

Try the pizza just a couple of doors down - very good - all the locals line up for it (always a good sign)

We really enjoyed staying at Patrick's house, it was a very nice, clean, and lovely townhouse. Patrick was very helpful, and we could always reach him if we had questions. We would definitely book the house next year, Thanks Patrick!

Me and my family stayed here for 10 days and had a perfect vacation. This town house is located inside the old town of Antibes and it is close to everything that you need, beaches, shops and restaurants. I can really recommend this to everybody.

I had the pleasure of renting this appartment spring 2009.
The appartment comprises of a modern urbanized flat and fits perfect for anyone that would like to stay in a cityscape. Placed just metres from the main streets of old Antibes and the yacht harbor Port Vauban and the city beach, all you need is within reach. We stayed 5 adults and had everyting we needed in the appartment.

The owner is trustable and supported all our needs before and during our stay.
