Easy access everywhere:
Antibes is in the heart of the French Riviera between Nice and Cannes. Other famous cities like Monaco, St Tropez, Menton, Eze, Ventimiglia, Grasse, Biot etc are a short bus, train or car ride away. Antibes is unique in its cosmopolitan feeling. Over 40 nationalities own property there and English is spoken everywhere. Antibes also boasts the largest and deepest port on the Mediterranean, welcoming the largest yachts with their Anglo-Saxon crews. But there are very few hotels, so when the sun sets, Antibes becomes 'local' with its cosmopolitan flair. Antibes is really a dream city. Perfect location in the middle of everything but calm especially in the old city which to 400 BC (it used to be Antipolis). Perfect destination for sun, sport, dining, theatre, culture etc.
Easy access to public transportation and cities around : Many bus stops : 100m, to all cities around (Cannes, Nice, Monaco). Train station (TGV stop) : 10mn walking distance (To Cannes : 10mn; To Nice : 20mn).
Parking situation:
Usually - with very few exceptions - there are no car parks and direct access by car to the houses in the old town. But, our townhouse is in the privileged situation because residents can drive just in front of the main entrance and park their car for a few minutes in the small street (ideal to bring luggage or shopping). Additionally a parking card for the harbour is at the disposal for the renters for a extra cost of 35 euros a week. So, you can be sure to have a parking space in a guarded car park very close to the house (100m, behind the ramparts, just in front of the luxurious yachts) which is strongly recommended in peak season (during summer).
