5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, sleeps 10 persons

This is an exceptional property, well and tastefully furnished. On the main level there is a large living and dining area with a modern, well equipped kitchen. 2 double bedrooms, 1 with en-suite bathroom and a shower room. It also has a sitting room with a sofa which is ideal for children. Leading off the lounge is a large terrace with lovely views of Montgo Bay and the surrounding hills. There are stairs leading to the garden and pool area. Downstairs on the garden level are another 2 twin bedded rooms, 1 double room with en-suite, and another shower room, there is also a lovely recently constructed bar room with doors leading out to the garden. The large pool is set in lovely mature gardens with a patio and sunbathing area. There is also a large covered patio with a barbecue and eating area. This is a very spacious villa ideal for one or two families wishing to holiday together.

How to get to L'Escala: Flights into, Girona, Barcelona or Perpignan Airports. Drive down through France, L'Escala is 50 km south of the French/Spanish border. By coach from London Victoria to Figueres.

The lovely Spanish seaside town of L'Escala is situated on the Mediterranean in the bay of Roses, it's beautiful beaches make it an ideal place for family holidays, it is both a working town and a tourist resort, the old town is very traditional with it's maze of narrow streets filled with shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. There are plenty of nearby places to visit, Figueres with the Museum of the famous artist Salvador Dali, the cultural city of Girona, La Bisbal which is famous for it's ceramics, the lovely moated medieval village of Peratallada and the fantastic city of Barcelona 140 km away. Empuries boasts the extensive Greco Roman ruins and the small village of St. Marti is just wonderful with it's plaza of restaurants and pretty church. L'Escala offers plenty of activities and water sports to suit all ages.

The pictures on the website did not do this beautiful villa justice! It really was beautiful and the description needs updating to include the bar area which came as a lovely unexpected surprise to us and which we enjoyed very much! There is so much space both inside and out with the various terraces and seating areas that even though there were three different families holidaying together, we never felt 'on top' of each other at all. We had wonderful week - thank you!

Very Lovely Villa

The villa is so well equipped with everything you need. Large pool, with stepped area at one end which the little ones loved, and lovely terraces and balcony. Expansive gardens with ripe apricots from a tree for breakfast! There's plenty of space so we never felt on top of each other even though there were 9 adults, 2 toddlers and a baby staying during the week. Plenty of bathrooms and lovely big kitchen, dining and lounge area. Nice bbq and outdoor terrace eating areas. Some lovely nearby secluded beaches a short drive away. Would definitely recommend villa.

The information you read on this villa does not do it justice at all. The villa was large, spacious and had everything you would need for a great holiday. The pool area was fab, enough room for 10 people to sunbathe and the pool itself was a big pool. There are lovely balconies and terraces with views down to the sea. The area is quiet and peaceful and the resort caters for all. There were enough bedrooms and bathrooms for 4 families and a very large open plan kitchen, dining and living room. Take your own DVD's and CD's. We loved it here, would definitely stay again and would most definitely recommend it to others. Only one negative point......the only room with working air conditioning was the lounge and it would have been nice to have the other units working.
