Centrally located in Chianti for exploring & only 5mns drive to Castelfiorentino with shops and trains to Florence and Siena and minutes walk to a fine restaurant. Traditional in some parts (wooden beams, some antiques) and complemented by the occasional modern item, the whole provides an extremely handsome home.The view enjoyed from the pool (open from May to September) are enchanting. The ground floor has a dining room with a beautiful antique wooden table (seats 12 people), sofa, armchairs, fireplace, a traditional sideboard, sat TV and sound system.The kitchen is well equipped, with working fireplace, oven, dishwasher, fridge, freezer. There is a laundry with washing machine and a bathroom with shower by the airy bedroom on ground floor.The first floor is reached by the traditional stone stairway. The 4 beautifully appointed bedrooms (2 doubles, 1 twin and 1 double/twin) and two bathrooms (1 with shower & 1 with tub) have stunning views over the hills.

The Villa is near to San Gimignano as well as with easy reach of most important Tuscan places of interest. The nearest airport is Florence airport about 35 minutes. Pisa is just over an hour and Rome airports are about three hours away . The Villa is situated in the small and charming village called Renai, 3 km or about 1 ½ miles from Castelfiorentino where there is a train station. From there it is only 40 minutes the centre of Firenze, Pisa e Siena. The railway service is good; there are trains every hour and at all hours.

The down stairs bedroom has the magic colours of coral with a well restored wardrobe, 2 bedside tables and a sofa. We spent one week in this idylic area. Villa was well equiped. Imaculately clean. Beautiful gardens. A super place to stay for day trips to outlying medieval villages. Host family was friendly, polite and accomodating. Fun multi pizza tasting evening. Perfect setting for a "group" holiday. Pool area lovely although water was quite cold.Favourite part....
Bathrooms in particular were a joy, an actual tub was a treat and I especially noticed distinctive colourful tiles!
