I recently stayed in this lovely apartment with my wife, two brothers, and their spouses. The location was absolutely fantastic! Easy walking distance to the Louvre and Notre Dame (among many other sites) and, just as important, right around the corner from a Subway stop! It was so easy to get around and see the city!

All of the accomations were extremely comfortable. We easily slept 6 adults and couldn't have had a better stay.

Beware, the shower gets the bathroom a little messy as there is no shower curtain, but with that being our only minor complaint, I would easily recommend this to anyone visiting Paris! Thanks for the great accomodations!

Our family, including three children aged 9, 12 and 15, had four nights at Maxime's charming apartment and our only regret is that we didn't book more. We loved the apartment, the location was unbeatable and Maxime was a very welcoming and helpful host. He even helped us out with a medical problem that would otherwise have consumed one of our precious sightseeing days. We are all healthy so the stairs were no problem - we just viewed it as a good way of working off the daily baguettes and cheese - and we were very grateful for the kitchen and bathroom supplies generously provided. There are great cafes and shopping nearby, and the Cafe Etienne, just outside the door, was perfect for family dining. (Don't miss the confit duck!) The apartment was very secure, so my husband and I felt confident about leaving our oldest son in charge for short periods while we ducked out for an early morning walk along the Siene, an afternoon happy hour drink in the cobblestone pedestrian street below or, on one occasion, dinner at one of the local cafes. The Mac provided in the loungeroom allowed the kids to keep all their friends at home up to date with their travels via Facebook and helped us in planning the next day's sightseeing activities. Best of all, there are so many sights within walking distance: Notre Dame, Louvre, Musee d'Orsay, Pompidou, Rue Montorgueil, the Siene - even the Champs-Elysees and Arc deTriomphe if you are feeling energetic. We definitely hope to return.

We (4 adults and a child) stayed for 5 nights and we find the apartment simply lovely! My son especially likes the attic which is very nicely done.

The apartment is located on the 6th floor without lifts but personally I don't think it's an issue - we climb the stairs at least twice a day! Think of it as a healthy exercise and being on vacation, there's really no need to race to the top. Just take your time and climb slowly according to your means. The people staying in the building are also friendly and it's common to exchange greetings on "Bonjour!" whenever we meet along the stairs.

The building is very conveniently located next to the metro and there are many nearby shops and restaurants. It's very nice to talk a walk after dinner.

The owner was also a very nice, courteous and generous person. It was a positive change over another owner at another apartment during our stay in London.

Overall, we are very very pleased and would recommend to our friends and relatives!
