The chateau de la Condamine

The property has been a family home since 1804. It has been gradually restored through the years by the same family, and has kept its authentic character.

From the original buildings, dated 15th century, there remains a pretty paved courtyard and tower, with a spiral staircase leading to the upper floors. The height of the vaulted ceilings in most of the rooms gives an impression of vast proportions.

The classical facade overlooks a walled garden "à la française" of 1 hectare with shady walks between pruned box trees and the private swimming pool (11m x 5m x 2.20 m) with its solarium.

The charming property of Chateau de la Condamine is located in a small hamlet both an agricultural and vineyard community close to Uzès with its well preserved Renaissance architecture (19km) the roman city of Nîmes with its famous arena (40km) and the Pont du Gard (32km).

  • Three large classical suites overlooking the gardens, include double beds and private bathrooms. Two of them have also an adjoining children room. A double room is very cosy and looks out on a paved courtyard and the magnanerie. This room has its own private bathroom. There are also three other bedrooms, with 2 single beds each. A dormitory has been created for childens: 3 rooms en suite have 2 single bed each.
