Additional information about rental rates

  • Prices based on 10 people. An extra E10 per person per night for use of Cot or pull out bed. Please note that the 2 extra pull out beds are suitable for childeren only (one is a camp bed the other inflatable).

    A damage deposit of £500 is required upon arrival / collection of keys. E25 p/p will be deducted on departure for cleaning, linen change and utility bills (min charge E 100). Midweek linen change and clean can be arranged for E20 p/p (min charge E100) .
  • £500 non-refundable deposit to reserve a rental period.

    50% of balance due 4 months prior to arrival.Full settlement 2 months before arrival date. After which point the booking will be cancelled resulting in loss of deposit.

    Accepted currency is GBP Sterling and Euro . All Bank Fees and exchange rate conversion from other currencies to be paid by the party renting.

    The cancellation policy is as follows:-

    2 months before the arrival date - 50% of the total cost of the booking
    No refund then after
  • Special offers: - A 20% discount will be offered off the listed rental rates on all availabilities 4 weeks prior to arrival date. Additional cleaning and linen change fees apply. This does not apply to the August bank holiday rate advertised.

Notes: Please check out the website for further information and pictures. farmhousesinitaly.com The swimming pool is oval shaped and approx 8m x 4m and about 1m to 1.6m deep. perfect for cooling down and splashing around with the childeren, but not suitable for the avid swimmer!! The farmhouse sits in its own private landscaped garden. However la Casa Rosa has over 3 acres of land for guests to enjoy. The boundary runs from the back of the house down past the old disused fartmhouse and down the hill until you reach the Olive trees. The farmer on the lane and his family maintain and clean La Casa Rosa. They are more than happy to show children (and adults!) a variety of chickens, ducks, geese, pigs, lambs and other animals thay have. They usually give you free freshly laid organic eggs !

The roads up to the farmhouse can be quite twisty and tourney, so if you suffer from travel sickness or have small children it may be a good idea to bring some travel pills.

There is a small lake not far from the farmhouse: ..... A lovelly family from Denmark explored the area and left me these comments....'there is a small lake if you continue on the small road coming from St Giorgio, (I believe second road to the right if you skip the driveway to La Casa Rosa. and continue about 800 m). I went there with Ella, talked to the nice farmers whom the lake belongs to, and were allowed to do some fishing. Caught a small carp, but there is bigger ones too, and certainly other species as well. Hooked one big thing, but didn't land it - fishermens tales, you know!'

Ski: Skiing in the Appenines is pretty good...Plenty in Rocorasso (about 1.5 hrs drive) and Campo Impetore (about 1hr drive)

This years vacation rental that went to Abruzzo at La Casa Rosa turned out to be excellent.
The house is roomy and really comfortable, with nice furnishing in generally big rooms. Kitchen and bathrooms lacked nothing.
La Casa Rosa is situated beatyfully, with an astounding panorama of the hills and mountains in the area. The nearest neighbours are not far from the house, but far enough so you are not bothered. On top of this they are wonderfull people. I talked with the old man for about ½ an hour, even though he only speaks Italian, and I dont!
The pool is well kept and nicely laid out, big enough for some swimming, but not huge. Also dont miss the great sandbeaches nearby.
Finally the owner is extremely nice, well organized, communicates swiftly and do everything possible, so you will have an enjoyable stay. Thanks Adam.

In the hills of Abruzzo!

La Casa Rosa is a beautiful and wonderfully laid out home. Every bedroom was roomy and comfortable. Before our scheduled date of arrival Adam was extremely helpful in answering all our questions regarding the area and La Casa Rosa. The Casa was fully equipped with everything you would need to make it a pleasant and comfortable stay....and it most certainly was. It was the best villa that we have ever stayed in and we have stayed in several. The views of Gran Sasso, the hills and valley were beautiful, especially sitting out on the terrace sipping delicious Italian wine...most relaxing. The restaurants that Adam recommended were quite good and we did enjoy our meal & visit with Franca at the Agriturismo (she speaks fluent German) about 2 km. from LCR. We loved visiting Loreto, Citti San Angelo, Montefino, Penne, & Castelli (right by Gran Sasso - The village is renowned for ceramics).

Perfect vacation with friends

On July 4th 2009 we started an awsome vacation week with our german friends (8 of us). Everything we have seen and read about this house came to reality. What a beautiful country sight and oh such wonderful and helpful neighbours. Our home cooked meals accompanied by local wine just gave us this special "Italien night" feeling. Also the three restaurants we visited for superb dining are to be recommendable.In Civitella Casanova "La Bandiera. In Loreto Aprutino Hotel Restaurant "Di Rocco" and Agritourism in Giorgio(her name is Franca and she speaks fluent german) We will gladly return if getting a chance

Perfect in every way

What a dream home - did not want for anything (apart from better navigators in getting out of Pescara a couple of times! ) We booked the property for a family gathering on the occasion of my daughter's wedding - all 9 of us arriving from various far flung parts of the globe. We all thought the accommodation incredibly comfortable and practical, well equipped, beautifully furnished and the views - stunning. Ranged in ages from 18 - 86 and all crave a return visit with more time to explore the area and breathe the crystal clear mountain air!

The help we received from Adam was wonderful - we all wish him the best with his future rentals and long to return to this very special property.

A taste of real Italy

This is a fantastic farmhouse - stunning views, well equipped, very comfortable and we have no problems recommending it to anyone. We enjoyed being so close to nature (saw a golden eagle, fireflys, frogs, lizards and a pine marten) and seeing the locals out tending to their gardens and sheep each day. The neighbours, who are very friendly, also had ducklings, rabbits and a dog with puppies - so the kids enjoyed every minute. We had a group of 10 travelling - 6 adults and 4 children, and found there was ample space for us in both the living and sleeping areas of the house.
