Villa Lysandra is a comfortable, fully air conditioned, two bedroom single storey dwelling situated within easy walking distance of Pissouri village and the village square. It has ample living space for up to five persons, containing new furnishings & appliances including fridge/freezer, microwave, hob, fan assisted oven, washing machine, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, satellite TV, DVD player and radio/CD player. In addition to inside dining there is room to both the rear & front for eating outside. A communal swimming pool, for use by residents, can be found about one hundred metres away.

The villa is located just a short five minute walk away from the traditional village square of Pissouri which is found almost exactly halfway between the main tourist towns of Paphos & Limassol. Access to both towns is by way of the A6 & takes about 20 to 25 minutes to either. The area, being situated 800 feet above sea level, offers full panoramic sea & mountain views. A 5 minute drive down the road is the picturesque resort of Pissouri Bay, which provides an extensive Blue Flag beach, a number of water related sports, several tavernas & restaurants & the prestigious Colombia Hotel & Colombia Beach Resort. Within easy reach are the championship standard golf courses at Secret Valley & Aphrodite Hills. As a contrast to the coast, the Troodos Mountains, with its spectacular scenery & many walks through pine forests can be reached well within a 2 hour car drive. Pissouri is excellently located as a base to reach the numerous historical sites & resorts around Cyprus.

Outside: There is a secluded and private patio area to the rear which is equipped with table and four chairs. Inside the store room can be found a barbecue with cooking utensils. Adjacent to the seating area there are a lemon tree and a grapefruit tree from which visitors are invited to pick fruit when ripened. Sun loungers are provided for use at the nearby communal pool or under the covered patio area at the front of the property. Whenever the loungers are used, visitors should return them to a safe place within the villa. There is space for car parking at the front behind the iron gates to the driveway or in the residents car park, a few yards away, at the end of the cul de sac.

Golf: Prestigous championship standard golf courses can be found within twenty minutes drive at Secret Valley or Aphrodite Hills, both being well signposted from the A6 or the coast road route from the airport. In the hills above Paphos can be found a further golf course by the name of Tsada Clubs.

We had a fantastic stay at Lysandra. The villa was beautiful, well-maintained and with everything you could need. Lovely location - just a ten or fifteen minute drive to two beautiful bays, and a five minute walk into the village. Really friendly people, and some lovely places to eat or enjoy a beer and the gorgeous views over the mountains or to the sea.
This was a very last minute holiday, and Peter could not have been more helpful in arranging everything.
We would love to return next year, and would absolutely recommend Lysandra to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday in a beautiful location.

A Real Home from Home

The villa was everything we expected - it was clean, comfortable and well-maintained. It was situated in a very pleasant, quiet area but was not too far from the centre of Pissouri village itself.

The village was very pretty and boasted many differing restaurants and places to sit and have a quiet drink. The local people were very outgoing and friendly and we had lots of good conversations with them and with other tourists.

Pissouri beach was a short drive away and was clean, comfortable and very "laid back".

Our thanks go to Peter, the owner, for being so approachable and answering all our questions (silly or not!) with good grace and patience.

I would definitely recommend this property to anyone wishing to have a comfortable, relaxing holiday. We hope to return one day.

Lovely well equipped villa, plenty to do, good choice of tavernas and bars, really interesting and varied place to spend a holiday. We wouldn't hesitate in going there again.

Our stay was excellent - everything you could possibly need in terms of a home-from-home experience. The small town centre has some excellent bars and restaurants so get yourself down there and enjoy??!!
Lots of history to be found locally - you don't have to go far to find these. The local beaches were easily accessible and the tavernas served up excellent food -always go to the busy ones and they're good value too!!

what a beautiful well presented bungalow we were lucky to stop here for 12 days it was fantastic everything you could imagine very well equipped bungalow.a true find.thank you peter & sue....we truly loved your place it was brilliant for our little son as he couldnt get out!!
we would definately return to this bungalow
