Welcome to Maussane, landmark of the Alpilles. 2 miles from les Baux de Provence, 6 from Saint Remy, 12 from Arles and its roman treasures, 24 from the Avignon TGV, 50 minutes from Marseilles airport. In the heart of true Provence, live in a place that inspired Van Gogh, Dante, Orson Wells, french poets as Mistral, Cocteau, Pagnol. A 3 minutes walk and you are at the Golf des Baux, nested amidst olive fields and vineyards with the Alpilles range in the background. A 4O minutes drive and you are in Camargue, Europe's largest natural reserve ( 360 sq miles) home to more than 400 species of birds, including the famous pink flamingos.
