Private modern home close to Coral Bay, with a wonderful communal pool.

Our lovely holiday home is in a traditional village - close to Coral Bay, Paphos. Prices are currently reduced due to the economic climate. With a patio or balcony off every room there is a wonderful fresh feel to the house. There is a spacious open plan lounge/diner and kitchen. French doors lead out on to a large private patio at the front of the house with views of the village and the hills. This is furnished with a new table and four chairs. As this is secluded and partially covered you can enjoy all your meals outside in the lovely Paphos weather - even if it rains. There is parking outside the front door or in the underneath garage. The internal staircase leads up to the lounge/ diner. The lounge offers comfortable seating, a dining table, ceiling fans, satellite television,cassette, radio and CD player. The kitchen has a ceramic hob and electric oven, fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave and breakfast bar. The kitchen also has a balcony with views over the pool to the sea. This gets the afternoon sunshine so is ideal for drying laundry. With the doors open on both sides of the house there is a lovely breeze even in the hottest months. Upstairs there are two king sized airconditioned/heated bedrooms both with covered balconies and plenty of fitted wardrobes/drawers. One with sea views above the kitchen and the other has amazing views up over the village and hills. This is a quiet complex with a delightful communal swimming pool with a paved surround and shower/toilet facilities. here are several residents living permanently on the compled. Located centrally in the heart of historic Peyia Village offering fantastic mountain and sea views. Within walking distance to the local supermarket, banks, restaurants, tavernas, internet cafe and local pubs. Doctor and dentist are nearby. Many holidaymakers never venture out of the village as it provides a diversion from lazing around the pool and 'Le Grande' restaurant/bar/internet cafe which is a five minute walk from the house provides a social meeting place throughout your holiday.

A wonderful holiday home for you and your family: This beautiful spacious townhouse offers you the best of both worlds. From the kitchen and the above bedroom you are part of a small complex with stunning views over the pool to the Coral Bay coastline. From the lounge and the bedroom above you look out over the hills and village of Peyia, offering complete privacy from the other houses and apartments. Enjoy entertaining in the evenings on the large front patio with a glass of local wine, before heading out into the village for an authentic meal or nearby Coral Bay with its lively restaurants and bars. The neighbours are very friendly and helpful should you need any local information, and a few families live on the complex all the year round.

Long term rental is available on this property at a rate of 450 euros a month, for a minimum of three months. In addition to this a charge of 35 euros a month for electricity and water. Council tax is included. This property is also for sale.

This wonderful townhouse is situated in centre of the traditional hillside village of Peyia overlooking Coral Bay with its famous Blue Flag beaches. The house is located down a cul-de-sac off the main road. The village has tavernas, restaurants, supermarkets, a bakery, delicatessen, hairdresser, butchers and banks. It is an excellent base for exploring the Akamas nature reserve with its turtle breeding beach and the Sea Caves route with its quiet sandy coves. Go-karting and horse riding are available nearby. The Troodos mountain range with its wonderful scenery and traditional villages is a drive of approximately 2 hours away. Coral Bay itself is a five minute drive down the hill. There are two beautiful sandy Blue Flag sheltered beaches, several well known hotels, water sports, restaurants, discos and shops. The famous Tomb of the Kings and the Mosiacs are on the route of a regular bus service into Paphos Harbour, the market and the old town of 'upper' Paphos. Paphos harbour provides boat trips, scuba diving, cafes, restaurants and tourist shops.

Other Activities: Peyia village has an internet cafe ' Le Grande' with it's own bar and restaurant just 5 minutes from the house.There are also DVD rentals and large Sky Sports televisions. There is a doctors' surgery, a dentist, a bakery and a pharmacy just off the main road before you reach the house. Peyia also boasts its own gymnasium halfway down the hill.

  • £150 security deposit required per weekly booking (returnable) at the end of the holiday. Holiday must be paid in full 10 weeks prior to departure. The rate for your holiday includes the cleaning and preparation of the house for your visit.
    * Christmas/New Year £50 per week extra. You may apply to us for details of any special offers we have from time to time, for example extra days added on free of charge, or buy two weeks get one half price.
    If you are waiting for your own house to be built, this is an ideal base to make your temporary home, and you may apply to us for special rates for a long stay of up to six months.
    Special reduction - book three weeks over Winter and get the rate reduced to £180 per week.
    Also on offer are escorted breaks traveling from the UK with an escort provided, maximum two adults per booking. This is available on a bed and breakfast rate and evening meals can be catered for as requested.
    A welcome pack is available at a small extra charge.
  • This property is now available for long term rental at a rate of 400 euros per month inclusive of Council Tax, but does NOT include electricity or water. As there is solar heating for the water this means the bills are minimal, and the water is metered. An extra charge of 45 euros will be made for electricity and water per month..
    .For a 6 month stay the rate will be reduced to £300 per month if paid in full in advance (plus costs).

  • The bathroom is modern and spacious with an excellent power shower. The water pressure switch is located centrally outside the bathroom and should be turned on to provide cold water for the toilet and shower. The hot water is provided by solar heating which operates even on cloudy days, therefore making it unnecessary to use the immersion switch. There is a downstairs cloakroom.

  • The bedrooms are very spacious, with full air-conditioning/heating, and large fitted wardrobes and drawers. Bedroom 1 looks out over the village and hills of the surrounding area with patio doors leading to a large covered balcony. It is extremely private and is not overlooked by other buildings. Bedroom 2 looks out over the swimming pool to the sea. It also has patio doors leading to a covered balcony, giving a wonderful view over the coastline of Paphos. There are also free standing fans for hot evenings as an alternative to air conditioning. All furnishings are new and all bedlinen and towels are provided. We request that you bring your own beach towels.

Notes: The large patio outside the French doors in the lounge offers a wonderful secluded area for evening drinks as you are not overlooked by anyone and is also a delightful place to sit outside and have your meals. Both bedrooms have air-conditioning which also provide heat if needed. There are alternative oil filled radiators and free standing fans. Downstairs there are ceiling fans. Due to the location of the property with the mountain to one side and the sea to the other, beautiful cooling breezes flow through during the hotter summer months. This is truly a place where you can relax and feel at home.

What a wonderful location and a surprisingly large house. We loved the patio and had all our meals outside! Will certainly book again, great value for money.

First visit to Cyprus

I was delighted to find the house in such a central location in the village of Peyia. Everything was within walking distance and having the regular bus service into Coral Bay eliminated the need to hire a car.
The house itself had everything I needed and the views were amazing. I hope to come out again with some friends later in the year.
