T4 of 100 m2

Myself and 3 friends (we are Irish) stayed in this property for 2 weeks. On initially booking the property I communicated by email with Laurent - the owner - and after sorting out any questions we had, sent the booking deposit. Laurent me us at the property on our arrival - he lives away from here so we just texted him with our ETA, we were shown the property and the facilities and settled in. Its a new house - 3 big twin bedrooms upstairs and a double sofa bed in a semi separate sitting room, two bathrooms with shower in each, balcony to one of the upstairs bedrooms, secure garden with patio area, w tables, chairs and sun loungers. (we had a barbeque here one night) all the kitchen appliances and utensils were new and spotless. the location is very quiet and the property has plenty of privacy. The shared pool again is very good, clean and a great facility. I arrived from the airport which is only about 5 mins by car and nearer to the railway station - 15 min walk. its a 30 min walk from central Biarritz but there is a bus stop just adjacent to the villa serving Biarritz, Anglet, Bayonne. Theres a great beach within 10 mins and more further along the coast up to Biarritz and beyond. Theres a general store in the nearby campsite - 2 min walk and supermarket etc 5 mins away by car. The nearest restaurants/bar are a 10 min walk away. Biarritz itself is a lovely tourist type town, and residential area, we found restaurants to be very cheap for food and expensive for drink - but well worth the experience, there is a general basque theme to the town as it is in the basque country and near to the Spanish border which is another sightseeing option. The day before we left Laurent called to find out when we were leaving so he could collect keys - so while he was there if we needed any assistance we didn't see him til leaving - I honestly couldn't fault the place in anyway, and would definitely like to go back in the future - Mark D 26/9/12
