Villa Oligreta is a luxury villa set in a walled garden within walking distance from the sleepy town of Orsogna. With two large double bedrooms, one massive family bedroom, three luxury bathrooms and one formal lounge and dining room, it is spacious enough to provide lots of privacy. A library houses an extensive collection of English language books. The taverna, with its 42 inch LCD screen and granite table is a cool and shady place to gather, it leads directly to a bright spacious luxury fitted kitchen where the whole family can gather to cook, lounge and eat . The villa has been furnished with optimum taste and quality and is a truly elegant, comfortable environment. A BBQ and al fresco eating area faces the private pool. Villa Oligreta is situated in a small and quiet residential road just minutes from the town - providing optimum privacy, and tranquillity without being isolated. A short walk to the town's Piazza and you can have your perfect morning cappuccino.

Local Beaches: There are many beaches easily accessible from the town. The nearest is a mere 10 minute drive and is popular with the locals for its low tides and clean waters. The seaside resort of Ortona has daily summer ferries to the beautiful Island of Tremiti.

National Park of Majella: The mountain can be seen from every corner of Orsogna and is part of the National Park, a vast expanse of natural beauty. It is very close by and offers skiing and snowboarding in the winter, and hiking, guided walks and pony trekking in the summer.

It is a ramblers paradise. The Grotto del Cavallone are amazing caves accessed via cable car.

Close surrounding towns: Pescara is a modern bustling place great for designer boutiques and elegant cafés. Guardiagrele is a 13th century hill top town drenched in history and atmosphere. Lanciano is a lovely modern town to stroll around and sip a cappuccino. Chieti is a provincial university town and houses the Abruzzo Museum.

Villa Oligreta is situated in an undiscovered part of Italy 30 minutes from Pescara International Airport. The local beach and National Park of Majella are approx a 15 minute drive away. There is plenty of activities nearby, from pony trekking, to golfing, enough to keep the whole family occupied. Rome is easily accessible - an easy two hour drive makes it possible to experience the Sistine Chapel, the Colosseum, Vatican and other wonders of ancient Rome within a day.

NB: Changeover days are Saturdays but can be negotiated. Prices include all bills.
A breakage deposit of £400 is required on entering the property. A welcome hamper of local produce will be awaiting your arrival.

Housekeeping - Towels and linen are provided and are changed on a weekly basis. Access is required to the garden and pool area twice a week in order to water the plants and clean the pool. This is usually done very early in the morning with minimum disturbance to guests.
Please note that rental rate is based on a party of up to 6. There is an additional supplement charged for each individual over 6.
