On this advertisement I offer you a self-catering seaside one bedroom apartment in Torrox-Costa (NERJA), south facing (sun all day), with a panoramic view of the Sea through the huge (180º ) windows from the floor to the ceiling,which takes the full width of the apartment.View of the sea, the beach and the beginning of the coastal promenade (2km) of Torrox-Costa. Beach and sunbathing lovers will be able to laze in the sun, on the beach which is 30meters away from the apartment, or to go to the secured swimming pool with garden and solarium. Perfect location for day trips: Granada, Cordoba, Ronda, Seville, Gibraltar, Málaga, Tarifa...Car not needed. Close to all amenities. Fly to Málaga Airport, Torrox-Costa is 40 min drive by motorway. Situation details: The Ruselo R4 apartment is right next to the ruins of Roman baths. The Roman Baths, due to its small size, it would be likely to be a private spa, including extending the timeline of the first century AD I-II. The remains can be preserved unlike praefurnium where were the boilers, the caldarium, hot room, and tepidarium, warm room. All the rooms were covered with marble slabs, tile or painted stucco itself create the atmosphere of leisure. Besides the remains of the baths, it was found that it was a private home. These remains show us the water piping systems and different construction of the first period of the empire.

The area of Torrox is made up of three areas. Torrox Pueblo is the old white washed town in the hills, Torrox Park a newish Urbanisation on the hill and Costa the actual coastal area. The costa stretches some three Kilometeres and has a very long prom (Paseo) that is well paved with bars and restaurants. This is very much a family resort and not full of drunken groups. The months of July and August is when the Spanish from the North decend on Torrox for their vacation. The paseo comes alive at night with all ages taking time out together with street entertainers and market stalls open till the early hours. Every taste is catered for in the food on offer from the beach grills, chinese, Indian and more traditional Spanish Fayre.

On the beach, there are plenty of water sports available and the sea is clear and clean and a lovely temperature during the summer months.

The weater all year round is mild with the winter months still pleasant during the day and evening temperatures cooler. The summer months do get hot, but little humidity and a sea breeze makes it all very pleasant.

Water parks are open in the area during the summer months and local shops are very reasonable as are the markets.

TORROX -  Bus to Malaga. Has local buses to Nerja and the caves which is approx. 15 minutes away, Velez-Malaga, and Torre del Mar is approx. 20 minutes away. A 30 min walk along the beach to the pretty fishing village of El Morche.

Torrox has many good restaurants, bars and supermarkets all within walking distance, with a large market on Mondays.

TORROX PUEBLO - Is a pretty village which is a 5 mins inland by car with its narrow winding streets and white washed houses set around a church.

With a few bars and restaurants.

NERJA - Is approx. 10 mins by bus or car. With the old town hosting many bars, cafes, restaurants and shops.

Visit the famous BALCON DE EUROPE and Nerja caves.

When I got inside the first time in the apartment, I was seduced by the sight of 180 º C on the sea view from the windows up and down. The view took me breathless, south facing, sun shining all day with beautiful sunrise and sunset. The perfect place well situated, the beach at the foot, no car needed (Park your car and you can forget it), all shops close at hand, the bus station and taxi at 2 steps. I could walk by the sea with beach bars in the evening, coffee, swim, sunbathe but I found it is the perfect location to make day visits to Granada, Cordoba, Ronda, Seville, Málaga .. Moreover, this apartment has been so successful that it is reserved some dates a year in advance and even some tenants repeat 2 times their stay on the year.

What makes this apartment unique

It's great to get up in the morning, open the curtains and see the sea from your bed, without vis-à-vis, as if it belonged to you. You can choose breakfast in bed sorry but the hotel service will be made by one of you, or at the dining room table. The inside of the apartment is warm and welcoming color, it is equipped and we take special care for its maintenance in order to offer you a pleasant stay in a privileged environment with warm and at the best possible price.

Our hostess Sabine was helpful and friendly. Apt. was spotless - exactly as photos. Excellent wifi; washer/drying rack for laundry, comfy bed, well equipped kitchen plus a very nice view of the sea. Grocery stores and many restaurants nearby. We fell in love with Nerja, a lovely 15 minute drive along the shore. Dinner at The Hotel Jardin accompanied by flamenco guitarist was excellent. A half hour drive takes you to Frigiliana, a sparkling mountain town. I heartily recommend Sabine's apartment to anyone visiting the Costa del Sol.

Thank you Sabine for letting us use your condo. The location was perfect and it was supplied with everything needed for a very comfortable stay. We enjoyed the view thru the nice big windows every day. Your notes on what to do in the area were excellent as well as all the info about bus schedules, cities to visit, organizations, etc, etc, everything in that book, was very, very helpful. We were very happy to stay a whole month and enjoyed every minute of it. We just got back and we are already thinking of visiting again.........

Bel appartement avec vue magnique sur le mer.

Appartement très fonctionnel avec toutes les commodités. Vue très agréable sur la mer. Proximité immédiate sur la jetée du bord de mer pour se baigner et pour se restaurer et s'y promener. Grenade, Séville et Cordoue peut se faire en une journée. De nombreuses balades de proximité peuvent se faire.

A recommander pour passer un moment paisible et touristique.

Eine wirklich sehr saubere Wohnung! Tiptop eingerichtet. Super Aussicht auf das Meer und die Promenade. Alles vorhanden. Im Haus ein kleiner Markt - genial. Es gibt für alles ein Geschäft. Die zahlreichen Restaurants an der Promenade lassen keine Wünsche offen. Zum Zeitpunkt unseres Aufenthaltes war es noch ziemlich warm. Und unsere Vermieterin war super nett und freundlich. Alles hat geklappt. Wir wurden von ihr nicht enttäuscht und kommen deshalb gerne wieder.

La propriétaire est une mine d'informations et est francophone ce qui peut être très utile, merci Sabine pour la référence à Éléna qui fait traiteur à bon prix et qui n'est pas loin, d'ailleurs tous les services sont proches. L'appartement est impeccable avec tout ce qu'il faut pour rendre le séjour agréable et très bien situé pour visiter l'Andalousie.Et en sortant on est directement sur la plage, que demander de plus.Nous n'hésiterons pas à y retourner si l'Andalousie nous appelle de nouveau.

10 min from Nerja, 25 min from Málaga's city centre and port, 40 min from the International Málaga Airport, 500km away from Madrid and 700 km away from Barcelona. I can give you addresses and information for your trip to the accommodation, by plane, car, train, bus and taxi from the airport. Torrox-Costa is considered the place with the best climate in Europe (about 330 sunny days per year), sun all year long with 15ºC - 20ºC in winter. As you will walk out of the apartment building, you will immediately go on the free and public sandy beach with its 'chiringuitos' (restaurants) and the promenade. All the amenities are accessible by foot: restaurants, pubs, clubs, boutiques, banks, doctors, pharmacy, supermarkets, biologic store, etc. There is a free car park around the building and also on street. Good bus connexion to Sevilla, Granada, Málaga, Ronda, Gibraltar, Córdoba, etc.

Golf: With our nice weather all the year you can enjoy of 2 Golf courses: one, 20 km by car from the apartment with 18 holes: le Golf Baviera and 30 km by car from the accomodation with 18 holes: Golf Añoreta.

Ski: The whole eastern Costa Del Sol has been opened up with the new Autovia Mediterraneo highway that makes accessing this area from Malaga very easy. There is currently construction underway linking up the area of Granada due for completion very soon. Currently the drive to Granada and Sierra Nevada Ski resort takes approx 1 hr 15 mins. This will be greatly reduced on completion of the highway. I have to say though that the drive firstly along the coast and then up to the mountain region as breathtaking and very enjoyable. A good days skiing and the drive home leaves you ready for a meal and an early night. We usually do alternate days of skiing and then a day enjoying the warmth of the sun on the beach or from our terrace. The areas in and around this area are well worth visiting such as Alhambra Palace in Granada. Slopes are open November to March.

  • The dining room is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful sea view. Your breakfasts, lunches or dinners will be a real pleasure for your eyes. The windows, double glazed and with shutters, take the full width of the apartment and can be opened wide to allow total ventilation or to permit you to sunbath. Free outstanding view of the sea, not overlooked, and the blue of the sea is the main colour of the scenery, the sandy beach and the promenade. From this apartment you can see, in winter, the breathtaking sunsets on the sea, different every day. The swimming pool is shared and always secured by a life guard (open in high season). Admission only with a card, which will be handed to you upon arrival. Around the swimming pool, there is a fully fenced garden to sunbath. For the slightly more courageous people, there are 2 tennis courts.
