Our beautiful, privately owned, holiday villa situated in the pretty rural urbanisation of La Marina just 20 minutes from Alicante Airport can comfortably accommodate 8 people. The villa has a large rooftop solarium which is an ideal sun trap but benefits from a breeze all year round and lovely views of the mountains down to the beach. A large conservatory has been recently added to the solarium allowing an additional 2 people to be catered for and giving a pleasant place to escape the summer sun. The villa is five minutes from beautiful unspoilt sandy beaches (all blue flag) backed by a lovely expanse of pine trees. Its close to all amenities including multiple shopping areas with restaurants, bars, banks, pharmacy, taxi rank, bus stops and supermarkets. The villa is very child friendly with toys, travel cot and baby bottle steamer all provided.

The area is known as ‘the market garden of Europe’ with an abundance of orange, lemon, almond, olive and artichoke groves. There is an infinite variety of International cuisine, as the surrounding towns have 100’s of restaurants from which to choose.La Marina literally has something for everyone, from a relaxing break to bars for nights out. A large selection of championship golf courses are also available for the more energetic.

Golf: There are five great championship golf courses nearby. The closest course is either La Marquesa or La Finca situated 5 miles away at Rojales. The remaining three courses are in the Torrevieja area about 25 minutes drive from La Marina. These being: Las Ramblas, VillaMartin and Campoamor. A little further afield but still within 40 minutes drive are Bonalba, Alicante which was designed by Seve himself and my personal favourite Il Plantio which is only 5 minutes from the airport so idea if you want to squeeze in one more round!

Local Attractions: Situated just 20 minutes south of Alicante Airport La Marina has a wide variety of local attractions including national trust parks, as above, golf courses and blue flag beaches. Whilst staying at our holiday home you will find it easy to get about locally as there is a frequent local bus service to all local towns, markets as well as a shuttle bus service to the beach in the summer months. Guardamar is just 5 min drive away and has beautiful beaches, a pine forest and a marina. In Alicante visit the castle of Santa Barbara and Eusebio Sempere Museum and stroll along the esplanade on the sea front. There is a New theme park, Terra Mitica, in Benidorm which is a great day out for all the family with roller coasters, water rides and shows etc - a bit like Alton Towers with the sun (1 hour drive). There are also two local Aqua Parks and a Go- Kart track nearby.
