Unit is one of 10 in this 45 unit condominium that directly faces the gulf and does not look out over the pool area. There is an ocean view from every room in the condominium, including second and third bedrooms.
The condominium is on the first floor above the parking garage and offers privacy. It is a quiet corner unit, bordering a secluded beach of large estate homes. Secure 1st floor unit with stairs outside the unit's front door as well as two elevators.

Living room has wall mounted LCD HDTV with Hi Definition Cable including HBO and Blu-Ray disc player. Master bedroom also has HDTV with HD Cable and HBO. Other 2 bedrooms have basic cable and DVD player.

One assigned/reserved parking space. Guest spaces also available on first come basis. Beach Trolley service from Clearwater Beach to St. Pete Beach. Child friendly neighborhood with new playground three blocks East on Intercoastal waterway. Quiet beach in a 'small town' neighborhood.
Activities in area: golf, miniature golf, dinner cruises, gambling cruises, fishing, Dali Museum, French Bakery (three blocks), playground (three blocks), restaurants, nature walk, and Art Center.
Tampa International Airport 17 miles (30 minutes).
Orlando Disney Area two hours.
Busch Gardens (Northeast Tampa) one hour.
1 month minimum rental due to condominium rules.
$89.00 Property Protection Plan required with rental.
25% of rental fee due at time of booking. 75% remaining fee due 15 days prior to arrival. 60 day cancelation fee for refund of 25% payment made at booking. If cancelation made within 60 days of arrival the 25% required at booking will not be refunded.
Rental fee and Property Protection fee are all you pay. Owner pays $75.00 application fee and $100.00 cleaning prior to your arrival. All lodging taxes are included in your rental fee.
Rental fee and Property Protection fee are payable by Visa, MasterCard, Discover or eCheck and will be automated via email through VRBO or its payment partners.
No Pets. No Smoking in unit and in common areas including balcony and pool/gazebo area.

My wife, kids and I live 5 miles from the property location. If there are ever any issues with the unit we are less than 10 minutes away to come help out. We've lived in the area for over 25 years and have many great recommendations to fill your days....or you can just relax by the pool or beach like we do many days.

We bought this condo in 1997. After our family grew larger we needed a little more room. We decided to keep the unit and use it as rental property in 2005. Driftwood Sands only has 45 units, which makes for a nice, quiet spot to enjoy a month on the beach or longer.
We enjoy a direct view of the beach and the nightly, unpredictable and fascinating sunsets.
This is our ninth year at this condo. and we already made reservations for next year.We always have a wonderful time. The condo is well maintained, pool and grounds are well kept also. Fantastic area to be in. It's the Best of the Best! Plenty of great restaurants and lots of fun activities. Owners are wonderful people and we are looking forward to next year and years to come! We have stayed at this property eight times at different times of the year and have always had a wonderful vacation, hence the reason for returning. We have visited Driftwood on our own and with family and friends. We have always found the property to be as it is described being well maintained, conveniently located and safe. It is set in beautifully maintained grounds with a lovely pool and cabana for shade and gas bbq's. The condo is clean and well equipped and the owner is close by should there be any problems. We have always found it to be a true home from home. There are several malls / outlets within a short drive for shopping (International in Tampa and the Ellenton outlets near Bradenton). Busch Gardens is nearby in Tampa and the attractions of Orlando are approximately 90 mins drive away. If we have visited the Orlando parks we usually stay over for 1 night to make it a more relaxing experience. There are several good restaurants nearby. We especially like Guppy's, Salt Rock, Harry Seltzers and Beachcomber in Clearwater.
It is sheer bliss to sit on the beach and watch the sun go down, or sit on the balcony and watch the weather change. We have stayed in other properties at Indian Rocks, but none have been as good or as comfortable as this one. The balcony is a joy at lunch since the sun does not hit the front until the pm. The whole property is so calm because many residents are at work during the day so the pool area is quiet except for the school holidays and even then it is not overrun or noisy. There is a shuffleboard court which is fun in the cooler times. The beach is a joy to walk in the early morning and we have found many fossilised shark's teeth as we walked towards the Belleair properties. We have always felt safe and happy in this property knowing that any problems will be swiftly dealt with.
The condo is equipped with dish washer and all mod cons as well as a huge flat screen TV with over 100+ Brighthouse channels and a tv and dvd player in the bedroom.
We have been renting this property for the months of Feb. and March for the past 9 years. Property and unit are in an excellent location and superbly maintained. The owners are wonderful people and we would highly recommend this rental property.There are many great restaurants and activities nearby. We give this property an overall 5 star rating.
