I do not even know where to begin. This house is FABULOUS. My husband and I chose this house as the ‘command center’ for our beach wedding within 5 weeks of the big day from nearly 2,000 miles away. We could not have had an easier time planning; Marcy was such a joy to work with. Not only did she accommodate us, she helped our family with questions they had as well. Our dream was to have an outdoor beach wedding. The big selling point of this rental is that Marcy said the main living room was big enough to accommodate our ceremony if the weather fell through. Despite the weather not cooperating, we had a beautiful wedding ceremony in the living room. It really helped planning knowing we had a great backup if the weather was bad, and that the living room was not only big enough, it was a BEAUTIFUL backdrop for the wedding. Our guests got to sit and enjoy our ceremony while looking out over the ocean. The home was spacious, clean and well cared for. We could not have picked a better owner to work with or a better home to rent. If you’re looking for top-notch quality, this is your rental. The location is beautiful, the size is incredible and you won’t find a deal like this on the Oregon Coast. Not only are my husband and I happy we chose this venue, our guests were in awe of what a beautiful and functional space it is. Thank you, Marcy, for helping us create the most special day of our lives.

A Thanksgiving wedding on the beach is always up in the air until the last minute, but even some of our July weddings end up in the huge living room with the dining area set up for a buffet. Family Reunion

We rented one side for five days and the other side for two days. Being across the street from the beach was great. The kitchens were very well equipped. There was plenty of room to gather, but places to get away when you need quite time. We had small children and there was enough cribs and high chairs. The outside area were equipped with plenty of furniture. Saturday night we barbecued 30 Lbs fo ribs, and chicken using the many barbecues. We had 9 cars and there was enough parking at the units.The beds were all comfortable. Everyone was very happy with the accommodations. There were no complaints and that is rare for our family. Ron and Marci make you really feel at home.

I am one of the guests staying in the house although I did not choose to rent this place. View is beautiful. The house has many linens and kitchen appliances. I can say that we are comfortable with the place.

The only major drawback is that the renter is required to clean "ALL" used towels and leave them on the dining table before leaving. Imagine that many of our family members came from other states and have to leave early. We had to leave one of our family members to tend to the towels on the day we left although she has to drive 5 more hours to get home. Hope that this policy can be eliminated and improved on.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your wonderful review. We love hearing from you. Our Pacific Ocean view is really the best on the Oregon coast! And many comment on the the spacious rooms and decks! There is room for everyone and space to breathe!
During the busy summer months our fantastic Cleaning Crew have 4 hours to completely clean and sanitize the 4000 sq feet of this beautiful home. All floors, counters, bathrooms, kitchens, and appliances are scoured ,sanitized and restocked between guests. The cleaning for 5 bedrooms, and 2 dens with beds, 1 kitchen and the wet bar, and 4 bathrooms takes all of that time to do to our specifications.
We always ask the guests to start the towels in the two large sets of washer and dryers in the house to speed the process along. If you are leaving early we are always glad to do it for you, just ask! And we thank all those who have stayed over the last 7 years and left the house so clean.
We are happy to have the beds all made and the towels out and ready for you when you arrive. In many homes you need to make the beds and strip them before leaving or bring your own bedding. We do not ask this.
Most guests stay a week or longer and have enjoyed the use of the washer and dryers during their stay. As you are not on any of the guest manifests for the families booked in July I am not sure how long you stayed. Vacation rentals are different than a motel with room service, and not suited for short stays. But they are wonderful for giving you the opportunity to have your own house at the beach! We hope to see you again in the future and thank you again Matty for your review.

I had the most fantastic time!! Right on the beach and a little fire at night with some roasted marsh mellows... listening to the waves crash into the cove watching all the surfer during the day is cool too!! Marcy the owner keeps it very clean and u have everything u need and is so nice!! They are so accomidating. Me and my family will def be back soon... when u get there u don't wanna leave! I had my wedding there so anyone looking to have just a great place to have one... I'm telling u that's it!
