The island of Asinara: Asinara is a nature park and it is famous for its perfectly preserved landscapes and its underwater world. On this island it is possible to see the famous wild white donkeys, the only species remaining in Europe. the perfectly preserved landscape and nature is due to the fact that historically it used to be a leper hospital and later it was transformed into a maximum security jail. The Alcatraz of Italy held famous mafia characters such as Toto Reina. Thus, the island remained unspoilt from the polluted hands of mankind, before being transformed into the present nature reserve. The island can be reached by boats leaving daily from Porto Torres.
Jogging and bicycle riding: The villa is situated by the bicycle path that runs by the coastal promanade with beatiful seaside views. After 4km it comes to an end in the refreshing pine forrest.
Bird watching and archelogical remains.: Twenty minutes by car you can find the enormous ponds of Pilo and Platamona, famous for their rare and wondeful species of sea birds and migrating birds. Birds of pray have also nested there due to the vast amount of pray that can be found there.
