The ' Gate House ' and the ' Pool House ' are two independent apartments built within the grounds of our Finca (farm) in rural Andalucia. There are spectacular views towards the Sierra Nevada mountains and the town of Alhaurin el Grande. From early Spring the heady scent of orange blossom is in the air and later, when the fruit is ripe, guests are free to pick their own oranges and lemons etc. There are also figs, grapes and olives etc., all of which flourish in the fertile valley. The climate is superb with an average of 320 days sunshine a year. Long hot Summers and mild Winters make this an ideal 'retreat' at any time of year. The GateH has 1 double bedroom ensuite, shower/bath/wc, lounge-diningroom for 4, sofa bed for 2 and open kitchen. The PoolH has 1 double bedroom,shower/wc, lounge-diningroom for 2. Both attractively furnished and fully equipped for self catering.Both with private terraces and furniture and BBQ.

Alhaurin el Grande is a typical Andalucian market town which retains much of its 'Spanish' identity. It is just a few minutes drive from the Casita and there you can find a wide selection of shops, banks,bars and restaurants - many serving excellent local ' tapas ' at very reasonable prices. For the energetic : horse riding, mountain biking, hill walking, quad riding, birdwatching, tennis and a wealth of other activities can be found locally. Not to be forgotten are the excellent Alhaurin & Lauro Golf Courses which are also close by. The splendid city of Granada with its Moorish Alhambra Palace is a comfortable day trip, so too Ronda and Malaga or the ' Rock of Gibraltar ' and many more one-day trips. Alot of Natural Parks are close by.
