Situated at the foothills of the castle of Turenne, capital of the viscount, overlooking the valley of the Storm, at the crossing of 3 historic regions: Le Limousin, Le Quercy and Le Périgord, The Gîtes du Barri de Magal welcome you in a place full of history, classified among the most beautiful villages of France, with wonderful views on the valley. Extremely peaceful and calm, each gite has its own private swimming pool. From the gastronome to the hiker, from the sportsman to the historian, Turenne and its surroundings will know how to meet with charm your most varied expectations. Self-catered 18th century home, entirely renovated and full of charm, very comfortable. On the ground floor you will find a living room with a chimney, an open plan kitchen very well equipped, a bedroom, a bathroom with shower, sink and WC. On the first floor you will find 2 bedrooms, a bathroom with shower, sink and WATER-CLOSETS. Outside, a terrace with views on the castle and panoramic views on the valley, table with armchairs, cushions, sunshade and barbecue. From the terrace you reach your own private swimming pool (with salt water) with lounge chairs and sunshades.

Additional information about rental rates

  • We require a non refundable deposit of 25% in order to secure the booking. The balance is due 8 weeks before your arrival with a security deposit of 230€ that will be refund on the day of your departure. Electricity, water, gas, heating, linens, towels and sheets are included in the price. Cleaning is not included in the price. In order to enjoy your vacations we propose a cleaning package at 40€ payable upon arrival or deductible from your security deposit. Wood for the chimney cost 8€ per barrow.
  • Arrivals are from 4h00 pm and departures are before 10h00am. Arrivals and departures days are from Saturday to Saturday from June to September and during school breaks. The rest of the year, we are flexible.
