This charming privately-owned one bedroom apartment is tastefully furnished with an open plan dining/living room. It is on the first floor of a pleasant three-floor residential apartment block. There is a well maintained lift. The apartment is situated in the Carabeo area of Nerja only one minute walk to the promenade. It is a five minute stroll along flat pathways to the centre of Nerja and the Balcon de Europa. The living room features a comfortable sofa, dining table and chairs. The television receives most British TV channels. A CD player and radio are at your disposal. There is a fully equipped kitchen. The utility room comprises an automatic washing machine and ironing board. The bathroom is very modern and has a walk-in shower. The bedroom contains one comfortable double bed and has plenty of storage space. There are sunchairs which you can take down to the garden or pool. The private balcony is a lovely place to enjoy a relaxing breakfast in the sun.

The apartment is located in the sought-after area of Carabeo on the west side of Nerja. it is a stone's throw from the sea. Shops bars and restaurants are a short and pleasant stroll away yet the apartment is peaceful at night. This is a residential block with only 24 apartments on three floors.

General details: A separate utility room contains an automatic washing machine. These are sun-chairs which you can take down to the pool or garden. The bedroom contains one double bed and has ample storage space. The private balcony has a table and chairs and provides views over the well-kept gardens towards the Mediterranean Sea. There are large patio doors leading from both the bedroom and the lounge onto the balcony. You can even sunbathe while lying in bed! The communal roof terrace boasts spectacular views over the sea and mountains. Within the lovely gardens there is a large communal swimming pool which receives the sun for most of the day. Shops, bars and restaurants are in close walking distance yet the area is very peaceful at nights. The famous Burriana beach is only a short walk away. Testimonials from previous visitors can be provided.

Nerja: Nerja is a lovely Spanish town, traditionally dependent on fishing and agriculture. Today, tourism is an important part of the local economy, yet the town has retained its original charm and character. There are many restaurants and bars ranging from traditional Spanish to Chinese, Indian, French and Italian. Nerja is well placed for visits to Granada, Cordoba and Seville and there are many traditional Spanish villages to explore. With its nine kilometers of beautiful coved beaches and all-year-round temperate climate, Nerja is widely regarded as one of the most desirable holiday destinations on the Costa del Sol.

There are 9 Kms of beaches including the internationally famous Burriana beach that has once again been awarded the blue flag of the European Union. The small coves below the impressive cliffs have been the inspiration of numerous artists whom have set up residence there. In the town there are typically small shops offering local produce of the area, including sweet wine, olive oil, honey and tropical fruits. On the beach there are fish restaurants where you can enjoy the local 'pescaito frito' (fried fish). There are also a wide range of international restaurants in town which offer a variety of menus to suit all tastes.

this is our 5th. time in nerja. this apartment has most definately the best location we've stayed at. no hills to climb,restaurants abound,beach a stones throw,weather fantastic as usual. the apartment is a home from home with all you need(fridge needs renewed though). i would certainly reccommend this apartment and the location goes without saying. thank's for a great stay. bobby&anne.

What a lovely place to stay. Perfectly situated in a very quiet position between the sea, the shops and many good quality restaurants. the apartment feels secure, very homely and was only 2 minutes walk away from a great beach. We have stayed in many places and apartments in Spain, but this one one was probably the best. We hope to be going back again in the near future.

Stayed here in April 2009 - Easter period. Fab apartment with everything you could wish for. Well appointed, clean, tidy and nice and quiet in the evening for a good nights rest. Apartment situation great - close to some fab restaurants just around the corner 'Sloanes' and excellent food in the centre.

We will definitely return here.

Good value apartment.

Just back from a 5 night stay. This apartment is very well located less than 10 minutes walk from the main shopping area. It was very quiet at night and the large bed was very comfortable. Although we ate out most of the time we had no problem using the oven on one occassion. There is no microwave.
The owner was very easy to deal with and there was a welcoming pack of a bottle of wine, beer and water for us when we arrived.
In order to get to the apartment we used public transport that was very easy to use. We got the No.19 bus from the airport to Malaga bus station at a cost of €1.10. Purchase ticket in bus station at window no. 5 for trip to Nerja, €3.80 and get bus from bus stop no 31 in bus station. It was then a short walk to the apartment.
The apartment was very good value and when combined with the cheap Ryanair flights it made a great base for an out of season break.

Lovely apartment. So convenient for both the more Spanish areas of Nerja and Burriana beach. Within east walking distance of both. Very comfortable living and sleeping areas. As the winter this year was relatively cold in January we were glad that the apartment had heating as well as air-conditioning for the summer months. The information provided before travelling was very good and helpful. We did hire a car as we love to see the countryside around Nerja and certainly in January had no problems parking close to the apartment.
We would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment
