Tastefully decorated and furnished to a very high specification, the apartments have a contemporary yet uniquely Scottish theme. Awarded 5 Star self-catering accreditation by the Scottish Tourist Board the apartments sleep up to six persons. The splendid penthouse has a private balcony with views of the stunning coastline, the Ailsa Craig, and thence out over to the Mull of Kintyre. These apartments provide a first class base for golf, sightseeing or for touring the west coast of Scotland.

These superb garden apartments have been given Self-catering Five Star rating by the Scottish Tourist Board. Each apartment has two double bedrooms. The master bedroom has an en-suite shower room. Both bedrooms can be arranged as twins or doubles to suit your requirements and an extra sofa bed is available in the lounge should the need arise. Each apartment is fitted, furnished and decorated to an extremely high standard and the kitchen area incorporates all the standard facilities one would expect within a luxury home, e.g. microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, and washer/drier. The spacious open-plan lounge/dining room can comfortably seat four people and features a focal fire in the unmistakable style of Rennie Mackintosh. Furnishings are of the highest quality, designed to be contemporary yet reflecting just a touch of traditional Scotland. Each apartment has French doors and a patio area leading to the well kept gardens.

Situated on the spectacular Ayrshire coastline. Turnberry provides is a fantastic base for pastime opportunities such as golf, sea angling, island hopping boat trips and watersports. The apartments are adjacent to Turnberry Golf complex which is recognized as one of the finest in the world. Indeed Ayrshire is known as the home of Golf with the first ever Open Championship taking place further up the coast at Prestwick in 1860. There is also much to see for the non golfer. Culzean Castle estate has scenic walks through Red Deer Park. The Ailsa Craig bird and seal colony is a short boat trip from the fishing village of Girvan, further up coast at Ardrossan you can take the car ferry to the Isle of Arran and spend the day in 'miniature Scotland'. Drive along the Carrick coast and you will encounter Electric Brae and Dunure Castle and further along you will come into the village of Alloway, birth place of one of Scotland's favourite sons Robbie Burns.

Turnberry flat

A beautiful flat in a lovely location with suberb views over the Firth of Clyde. Great for walking and a good base for touring south west Scotland. The flat was furnished really well. The only drawback was its proximity to the main road with resulting noise fron traffic being fairly constant.
Lots of great places to eat in the locality - would recommend Wildings at Maidens and Souter Johnnie's Inn.
For a golfer the Turnberry courses are a real challenge. A visit to the spa in the local Turberry resort is must!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Romantic Getaway

GREAT BASE FOR EVERYTHING EXCEPT PUBS!

Stayed here late September as a base to play some golf and watch the Ryder Cup away from the distractions of family etc.

The apartment was great, plenty of space for the 2 of us and pretty much everything you would need for a relaxing break.

Only downside was distance from nearest pubs and restaurants as the Turnberry Hotel and Clubhouse were a bit pricey. Also, SKY for an extra charge in the apartment would have made the break 100% perfect.

If you stay for golf, make sure that Belleisle and Lochgreen are your list.

Would I stay again, yes without hesitation!
