This XIII century fortified house with its 700 m2 and 17 hectares of enclosed land enjoys a unique location. Although in times gone by it was used for defensive purposes, in recent centuries it has always been inhabited and recently underwent extensive refurbishment. The atmosphere of this unique residence is one of peace and privacy. The patios around the property treat visitors to a stunning view of the area and the communal parts of the house are spacious and well-furnished, blending an historical atmosphere with modern comfort. Visitors will enjoy admiring the star-studded skies on clear nights or relaxing by the pool listening to music.

There are 3 big bedrooms with a double bed, the room with the bunk bed is a single room. In the mezzanine there are 2 single beds that can eventually be a double bed.

A 15-minute (13km) car journey takes golf-enthusiasts to the Le Fonti Gold Club and its 18- hole course and the local horse riding centres organise hacks in the area, the perfect way to enjoy the stunning local countryside.
The nearby town of Castel San Pietro offers a good selection of restaurants in which to sample the mouth-watering egg pasta the Emilia-Romagna area is famous for and many other local delicacies.
