Our luxury apartment is situated on an attractive well maintained complex close to shops, restaurants, the marina and seafront. It features a very large south facing balcony off the living area, which is ideal for relaxing and enjoying meals. The second bedroom has direct access to the main balcony. Another balcony, leading off the main bedroom, gives a more private area for breakfast or just enjoying an evening drink. The apartment opens onto the heated pool area with a children's pool. A lift gives access to street level and a small supermarket. We have a private parking space in the underground garage.

Our apartment is maintained in excellent condition by a couple who live on site and are always ready and willing to give advice and help to our guests throughout their stay.

Golf: Golf del Sur is, as the name implies, an ideal venue for golfers with 3 first class courses in the immediate vicinity of our apartment with driving ranges and professional golf tuition if required. There are many other golf courses in the south of the island within short driving range - no pun intended!

Trips and other activities: Enjoyable boat trips, rides up the 12000 foot Mount Teide and other excursions are easily booked at nearby agents. The marvellous wind surfing beach of El Medano is a short drive away and the town has some excellent restaurants.

The Winter Gardens complex next door to Duquesa del Mar has an 8 lane outdoor bowling green with beginners welcome and lots of fun! There is a diving school in the Marina with one on one tuition for beginners. If you hire a car, there are many picturesque villages to visit and sites to see.

Semi-retired couple enjoying holidays in Tenerife particularly in Winter months.

Reasonably sized complex kept in pristine condition with excellent facilities nearby. All round year pleasant climate.

Our apartment has a lovely view out to sea from both balconies. Very roomy with comfortable bedrooms and all amenities. It's on the same level as the pool and ideally situated for all the local facilities - restaurants, sea, shops of all sorts, golf, bowling etc

Wonderful Apartment

We stayed a week over New Year’s in this great apartment with two wonderful terraces with sea views. We enjoyed our breakfasts outdoors. There are several good restaurants very close to the apartment. Gordon’s directions and information were invaluable. Among the suggestions of things to do and see, we most enjoyed our lunch at La Centinela. We also enjoyed the drive through Teide. We ate at both the recommended restaurants in Los Abrigos and they were wonderful. We also discovered our own favourite place: the beach and sea promenade at Las Galletas. We ate twice at a great place there: Tapas & Wine. The chopitos were incredible. I unexpectedly had knee surgery a few weeks before our trip and ended up on crutches. I was glad to find out that your apartment and the complex were very accessible! Thank you Gordon and Jane for the use of your wonderful apartment. I would love to go back, again. Pam C.

Thank you for a fantastic relaxing time.
The apartment was first class. Excellent decor, spotlessly clean and fully equipped.
We really liked the spacious balconies and the lovely pool area
The location was perfect, quiet and with lovely views and an abundance of places to dine at.
The information provided by Gordon was excellent and really helpful. Michael was available on site for any problems.
While we were there friends of ours visited us and are still talking about how nice the apartment was.
The personal touches in the apartment made you feel at home straight away.

All in all we had a very memorable and comfortable time.

Fantastic Apartment!!

This apartment was roomy, spacious and very well equipped. We were amazed by how much space we had both indoors and outdoors - it was lovely having our breakfast in the sunshine every day on the huge balcony. It was spotlessly clean, well maintained and the bedding and towels were changed midway through as promised. The complex is great and we have been twice before - we were in the heated pool every day and we were impressed by the continued maintenance and improvements since our last visit. In fact the whole area of Golf del Sur seems to be making continued improvements. The bars and restaurants are all good value and there is a lot of choice within walking distance. We had a day out at Siam Park - expensive but worth it as the kids had a fantastic time and it is far superior to Aqualand. We would definitely return to Golf del Sur and this apartment in particular - the owners were so helpful and gave us lots of advice and tips to make our stay all the more enjoyable. We would highly recommend this apartment.

Thank you so much for allowing us to use your fantastic apartment. It was exactly as described in the listing.

Everything that we needed was there. It was so spacious and very clean and very well maintained. The beds were very comfortable and it was nice to come back to it after being out all day. It was very useful having a private garage to park our hired car in too.

The location of the apartment is excellent and the views from the terrace are second to none. There are plenty of eating places surrounding it and the Wild Geese Pub downstairs serves really good meals.

Gordon provided comprehensive details about where to visit etc. We found his instructions about what to do on arrival at the apartment to be very clear and concise.

We would not hesitate to recommend the apartment to family and friends and, in fact, have already done so!!

Great family holiday

The appartment and entire complex are very attractive, clean and well maintained. Nice layout and architecture. Changing of sheet & towels after wk one was a nice bonus surprise!

With a little arrangement, a family of 5 fit in very well. Nice large terrace, great for breakfasts and a little outing but unfortunately not exposed to sun beyond 1 pm or so (then again, there is normally plenty of sun out there!). We enjoyed swimming (clean, heated pool) and long walks by the sea - great paths stretching out for kilometers in either direction, for the most part a lovely paved promenade to Los Abrigos, and an easy dirt track stretching out toward the golf course and beyond in "the wilderness" in the other direction.

Los Abrigos and Sun Blass offered variety for restaurants & surroundings once we had explored the nearby ones. "Rendezvous" in the Winter Garden was a pleasant surprise, suited if you're after a reasonably priced, nearby treat. Easy take-off for day trips (lift from carage takes you direct to the appartment door - convenient). A little suggestion is to include the GPS coordinates and/or exact street address in yr otherwise throrough welcome info - we had some difficulty getting there with rental car as our GPS was not aware of the place (we did educate the thing afterwards and had no problem since)!

We heartily recommend this place for anyone more interested in leisurely days than lively nights - and would ourselves love to return!

Golf del Sur is in the south of Tenerife, a 10 minute drive from the Reina Sofia Airport. The development is built around three quality golf courses, all within walking distance. Outdoor flat green bowls is also available on 'The Golf'. There are many bars and restaurants in the area with a bus going to the commercial centre, San Blas. Here you can wander around the square, away from the traffic and find banks, doctor, chemist, large supermarket and a great variety of shops. It is a quiet relaxing area in contrast to Playa de las Americas. The pleasant year round climate makes it an ideal getaway in the winter.

Golf: Golf del Sur has a 27 hole course, of which you can play 18 holes as a normal round. The combination gives you a beautifully laid out course, with wide fairways, fairly large but challenging greens with black volcanic sand bunkers to cause a problem for the wayward shot. Nearly always sunny but sometimes windy with lovely views of the sea, countryside and of the many varied plants and palm trees. Sufficiently hard for the low handicapper but still enjoyable for the 'hacker'!

Additional information about rental rates

Deposit £60 per week except Christmas/New Year weeks, £100 deposit, to confirm your reservation.. Payment to our English or Tenerife bank accounts. The remainder of the payment needs to be paid at least 1 month before departure to Tenerife. We do not take a deposit against breakages but most guests replace any small items broken or leave a small sum with our managers to cover the cost.
Notes A non-returnable £60 per week deposit is taken on booking and your holiday should be paid for in full 6 weeks before your arrival. Rental rate quoted is for occupation by two people except Christmas & New Year. There is an addition of £15 per extra person per week except Christmas and New Year for extra laundry, cleaning etc. Extra days are £50 or £60 per day depending on time of the year.
