|Minimum Stay||3 nights|
2 Bedroom, 1 bathroom, A/C, all amenities, very comfy & sunny! It's literally 100 meters from a secluded & quiet cove with a great beach. You can wake to the sun, walk to the beach & stay there all day without any bother. Or just lounge in the pool at the complex. Great swimming, snorkelling & SCUBA potential. Situated in a sleepy little farming town, but this unit is all modern, just built & completely furnished & equipped.
In addition to the cove, 600m in the other direction is a wide open beach, with a bar & restaurant there, 5-10 minutes walk, food & alcohol shops within 5 min drive or 20min walk. Centre of Gazipasa town (many shops) is about 15 minutes drive. Pets not a problem. Unit has a garage. My property manager can pick you up at the airport or arrange for rental car. Maid will take care of all cleaning when you leave...
New! Gazipasa now has an airport! Correndon, Transavia,
Tailwinds and SAS Airlines have direct flights into Gazipasa from many European cities and Istanbul.
I have a Turkish management company that will handle all the details. They can get you to/from the airport, and arrange for a rental car while you're there. Car rental is between 25-35 Euro per day depending on season and transfers are 60 Euro per vehicle one way. It's quite easy and straightforward to drive from the Antalya airport to Gazipasa (through Alanya) - it's a straight shot up the highway - so renting a car is probably the best option. It's what we do whenever we visit.
We also have a maid that will ensure the place is spotless when you get there, and will clean up after you leave.
In terms of dining, down on the beach (east from the unit), there is a restaurant/bar that you can walk to in a few minutes - it's about 5-600 meters or so, easily visible from the unit. It looks out on the beach, and has a nice roof deck that gives a great view of the whole area. There are also little convenience shops in the northern direction, where you can buy food and other such stuff.
In the town centre of Gazipasha, there are a number of typical small-town Turkish restaurants with good food. To get there you'd want to drive or take a scooter - it would take probably a half hour or so to walk to it. Down the highway is the city of Alanya, which has a lot of great places. There are buses to and from there hourly. You can also get in 30 minutes by car. Although the unit was just finished, the road to it was still being paved when we were last there so for these reasons, I'd say that you probably want to rent a car while there.
I have a property manager in town who can make a rental car reservation or pick you up at the airport if you wish. Overall, I would call this place a 'quiet and undiscovered paradise' - and if you want the hustle-bustle and fun of Alanya it's a quick drive or bus ride - so you've got the best of both worlds.
I can send many testimonials from previous renters, just email me (I'll put them on this website at some point...)

If you want to relax in five-star anthill with cheap ice cream, lie stacked on the beach, listening stupid animations and do whatever say guide - it is your right ... But if you want to get into a wild corner of paradise where you can fish, taking pictures of turtles, roam the ruins of ancient Selinus or simply escape from the city noise and people to listen to the silence - that's really a place what are you looking for! We liked the spacious apartment which has everything you need. We were afraid that this is so only on pictures, but were pleasantly surprised! Everything is much better! Balconies are located so that one of them is almost always in the shadow. On this occasion, every day we arranged a breakfast, dinner or supper on the fresh air.Local people are very nice. Although they do not know English, but this did not prevent them to give us fresh vegetables and fruits for free. :) We recommend to rent a car. This can be done immediately at the airport. Take a car with a diesel engine. (petrol $ 2.5 per liter)
Have a good rest in Gazipasha charming corner.
Having spent a fabulous week in a beautiful apartment in Antalya we were rather nervous travelling to Gazipasa. However on arrival all our fear disappeared. The apartment was spotless, spacious and superb. Away from anywhere but that is exactly we wanted. During our week we found plenty to do – swimming in the crystal clear waters of the warm sea, visiting ancient ruins in the nearby villages and sampling delicious food in the local restaurants. In the evenings we were relaxing by the pool, which we had all to ourselves. We had a great time in Gazipasa and we would certainly recommend this apartment to all our friends.
I hadn't considered Turkey for a honeymoon destination but my husband had had a wonderful experience there on a previous visit so I thought I'd give it a try.
The owner had asked us if we wanted anything to be left there for us to celebrate our new marriage like champagne, etc but we don't drink much so asked for fresh fruit and bottled water.
We arrived at night and found our fruit and water there as promised. It was a bit chilly at the beginning of the honeymoon, so I was relieved that the air conditioner doubled as a heater.
The apartment was clean, welcoming and just as pictured on this site. We'd found an assortment of personal care products that had been left by the owner/previous occupants which was great as I'd had all of mine taken from me by airport staff before I'd boarded the plane in the UK.
There were also books and DVDs which were left for us to read and watch which was good after we'd been out all day.
Everything about the apartment was exactly as described, if not better. We could never have imagined that we'd really have a secluded cove entirely to ourselves! The water was fantastic, almost as good as the views. We even saw a wild tortoise wondering around on the hillside approach to the cove!
The local restaurant by the sea was reasonably priced with great food prepared with very fresh fish. They knew we were honeymooners and would garnish our dishes with heart-shaped cucumbers! It was so romantic!
We met many friendly people where ever we went in Turkey. We did have a pied-piper effect on the local children. They came out of school as we were in the village centre and followed us down the street, but it was explained to us that they don't see many black people in those parts.
We were able to drive to Alanya for little trips and went to a Turkish bath up there. My Goodness it was divine!!! Look out for the Great Ugrak Restaurant on the cliff edge on the way to Alanya. We were also able to arrange a trip to Pumukkale where we stayed overnight.
The whole honeymoon experience was wonderful and wouldn't have been the same had we gone anywhere else. Because we went there at the beginning of April, we were almost alone on the little complex - it was wonderful! Whenever we wanted company, we just drove to the restaurant, to Gazipacha or to Alanya - we had the perfect balance for honeymooners.
My husband and I still talk about our honeymoon and the wonderful time we had in this holiday rental.
great views, sea, fish, oranges
recommended for self-sufficient groups
nice appartment, clean and sunny,
5 mins by car to Gazipasa, 30 mins to Alanya - that's all holidaymakers need, i suppose
once again - very good, thanks a lot!
My husband and I would like to thank Alarik for our wonderful vacation.
The apartment is spacious (the living room was larger than we expected), modern, and has everything necessary.
It is situated in an ecologically clean place without crowds of tourists. We went to Alanya for a day for excursion, Gazipasa is a paradise in comparison with it - clean sea, 3 different sorts of beaches (a cove 100 metres from the apartment, a stony beach 600 metres away and 2 sandy beaches - 3 km away).
Local people are very friendly, everyone greeted us and wanted to treat our little daughter.
If you are tired of everyday bustle, this is the best place for physical and mental rest for you and your family and kids.
We came with two daughters (25 and 2 years old) - the both liked their vacation very much.
We stayed at the apartment for 1 month and did not want to go back home. I had the time and inspiration to paint portraits of my family (5 persons), however I have not taken a paint brush since I finished school.
Alarik and the manager Adnan were always available and could solve any problem promptly (e.g. the car we rented was brought by the door of our apartment etc.)
We have got very positive impressions of this vacation and Turkey, which will stay long in our memories.
We stayed at Alaric's place in May'2009. Everything about the place and the surrounding area exceeded our high expectations. The apartment was clean and well furnished - all necessities were there. The cove is nothing short of spectacular, the water is crystal clear and marine life is abundant. Some days there were only us in the cove, other days there were a few local groups and a few tourists - never crowded. By comparison, Alanya's beach was fairly crowded and the water was dirty with zero visibility. Same thing in Antalya. If you want to enjoy the Turkish Mediterranean - Gazipasa is the place to be. Also, I highly recommend walking up the Selinus castle hill at sunset - a 5 minute drive from the condo.
Located above a cove in the town of Gazipasa just east of Alanya. Alanya is a busy fun city, but Gazipasa is quiet, where you can sit on the beach all day and often see no one else. Within walking distance is an ancient greek castle on a high overlooking the town, two beaches with restaurants and bars, ancient necropolis ruins, and the best hidden cove in the world right outside your front door. just go over the little hill, and you'll see the rock stairs down to the cove beach...water cooler is included with the unit, so you can bring your wine and cheese with you...The place is thoroughly modern (finished in 2006) with all the amenities.
Located at Gazipaşa Antalya Province, Turkey 36.233362, 32.302169' (for google or maps). Googling 'gazipasa' also provides lots of info
