The villa is in an exclusive area of Yalikavak in Bodrum which is known as the St Tropez of Turkey and it's easy to see why when you visit. It is a hilly peninsula with some of the most spectacular scenery, turquoise sea, quaint fishing villages, bustling towns, colourful markets and of course a perfect all year round climate. The villa has it's own private garden with large lawned area with various flowers/shrubs planted. The swimming pool is heated with spectacular views over the mountains and sea. There is plenty of seating on the terrace to sit and relax and take in the beautiful mountain and sea views and to watch some of the most spectacular sunsets you will ever see! There is also a balcony off of the master bedroom and twin bedroom with further table and chairs. The villa is in an absolutely stunning position and ideal for people who like the quiet life but are not too far from the action.

The town of Yalikavak is just a 5min drive and boasts some of the best restaurants on the Bodrum Peninsula. It has a new world class Marina and lots of lovely little shops to browse. Market day is Thursday and not to be missed if you are keen on a bargain! You can buy a variety of food, rugs, clothes, linen and much more at a fraction of the price back home! You can also book boat trips from the harbour which are a fantastic day out for all the family. There is a large supermarket within a 5min drive from the villa for all your needs. There is a small beach just 500metres from the villa with lovely clear turquoise sea and a small restaurant and shop with very friendly helpful owners! Bodrum is just a 15min drive away where you will find the streets bustling with activity and a vibrant night life. Here you can visit the 15th Century St Peters Castle, the amphitheatre with regular shows, ancient ruins like the Mausoleum known as one of the seven wonders of the world.

Absolutelly recommended!!!!! The villa has all you need to enjoy a perfect holidays. Astonishing Views in a peaceful environment , walking distance to the sea. The pool is perfect , even to swim by night , with all the starry sky above you.
The villa is very spacious and confortable, rooms with extraconfortable beds , very well equipped kitchen and , above all , the covered terrace is the perfect place to relax , reading a book or simply enjoying the sea views.
Besides , Karen & Mike are charming and are always ready to help you in all that you need.

Great location and a nice villa!

This villa is clean, light and airy and well maintained (pool service daily). We were 2 families (4+3) and the mums and dads slept on the 1st floor (with balconies) and three girls on the top floor. The living accommodation flows very well from kitchen to excellent covered outdoor eating area and straight to pool. Fabulous!

Views from the villa are very good - you look straight out to sea from an elevation of about 200 feet up. No nasty surprises at all! There is a great Carrefour supermarket 3 mins away by car and a local beach restaurant walking distance. For anything else you need to drive but parking wherever we went was easy (and we had a minibus).

I would thoroughly recommend this villa - its location is excellent for both relaxing by the pool (views!) and accessing plenty of local beaches/marinas etc by car (within 10 mins drive).

Yalikavak itself is a delightful town and the people very friendly. Bodrum is only approx 30 mins drive tops.

My only request in an ideal world would be satellite TV and possibly wi-fi (broadband), but hell, it probably did me good to get away from the news and the office!

We'll be back - hopefully in 2010.
