The apartment is in an elevated position overlooking Yalikavak & beyond to the blue Aegean sea. It is on a small secluded and peaceful site surrounded by olive groves and green hills. The apartment is the middle one of three which has an extra large terrace from which to enjoy views over the landscaped gardens and the fabulous pools (one large pool and a smaller child's pool). The terrace is ideal for enjoying a glass of wine whilst enjoying stunning sunsets over the distant mountains. This brand new apartment is equipped and furnished to a very high standard and has the benefit of air conditioning throughout. The town of Yalikavak is a short drive away (or 20 minutes on foot) but the apartment is very close to some of the best fish restaurants on the Bodrum Peninsula (Some will even provide a taxi service!) Local supermarkets, the marina and beaches are all with in ten minutes walk of the apartment, having a hire car would enable you to enjoy the beautiful Bodrum peninsula.

Yalikavak is an attractive seaside town on the north west coast of the Bodrum Peninsula, 17 km from Bodrum. This region is known as the Turkish Riviera, famed for clear sparkling seas, great sunsets, and family friendly beaches. The town was and still is an important fishing centre and many inhabitants used to work as sponge divers. Today Yalikavak is visited by families and couples looking for a relaxed beach holiday, and is also popular with sailors as Yalikavak boasts an extensive marina alongside its picturesque old harbour. Yalikavak is about 50 km from Bodrum Airport (BJV). The surrounding area boasts some of the best beaches in Turkey.

Additional information about rental rates

  • 5% early booking discount if booked before 31/01/09; 5% discount for repeat clients; 5% discount for late bookings (less than 3 weeks to date). We ask guests not to arrive before 4pm and leave not later than 10 am to allow for cleaning between lets. However if there are no 'back to back' lets we are then flexible on departure and arrival times.
  • £100 deposit per week payable immediately (non-refundable); Balance payable 8 weeks prior to holiday; A refundable breakage deposit of £100 is required (returned 2 weeks after completion of holiday); Cancellation within 8 weeks of departure - no refund

Travel: Flights to Bodrum are frequent from the UK and the prices are considerably cheaper than they were. We are happy to assist you in finding the cheapest and best deals around. Transfers take about 45 minutes to the apartment. (New route for 2009 - Gatwick to Bodrum at great prices!) When in Yalikavak the taxis are plentiful and quite cheap for local journeys and the local dolmus (5 minutes walk from the apartment) will take you to all parts of the Bodrum peninsula for an extremely reasonable sum. If you wish to try a boat trip to some of the fabulous bays and local attractions the boats in the old harbour offer excellent value for money. To try somewhere further afield why not take a day trip to Kos?

Local attractions: In Yalikavak there are many first class restaurants serving food to suit all tastes from traditional Turkish, fresh fish and international cuisine. The supermarkets all supply an excellent range of produce but for a special experience visit the Yalikavak Thursday market which is famous throughout the Bodrum peninsula. Yalikavak boasts a large variety of shops from the designer shops at the marina to the traditional Turkish tourist shops in the town centre. For the children a trip to the Bodrum water world is not to be missed.

Please Note: This apartment is up a hill (hence the wonderful views). Many of our clients have enjoyed the holiday without the need for a hire car. If you feel that tackling the walk, which if you are reasonably fit is very pleasant and not too daunting, will be too much. Halil, our wonderful caretaker will happily organise taxis for you.

Other Activities: A new golf course is planned for 2007 at Tuzla which is 25 mins drive away.
