You will truly enjoy your stay at this second floor, one-bedroom suite at beautiful Royal West Indies Resort. View the ocean and the colorful resort landscaping. This unit is 1,004 square feet with a 297 square foot wraparound covered balcony. There are two 12-foot wide floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors -- most RWI condos only have a single sliding glass door.
Royal West Indies is right on the beach. Compare the rates with the resort rates and other resorts actually on Grace Bay. Grace Bay beach is consistently ranked among the top ten beaches in the world.
The master bedroom has a king-size bed, and there are louvered shutters on both windows. There is a queen-size sofa sleeper. There are separate bedroom, dining, living, kitchen, and bath areas. Walk 300 feet to the beach. Beach towels, Beach Chairs, Umbrellas, Hobe Cats, Ocean Kayaks, snorkel gear, and all other recreation equipment are included. There are two TVs (a new flat panel HD TV in the living room), and free strong-signal WiFi Internet -- bring your laptop. A new Carrier air conditioner replaced the original air conditioner in March of 2013.
There are two Resort pools. There is a large rectangular pool and a free-form pool with a spa and waterfall.
This second floor, wind-protected, suite has lower rates than identical oceanfront suites. It is also twice as large as studio suites (without kitchens), that are also offered at Royal West Indies. Outer and inner doors are equipped with dead-bolt locks.
Our agent's representative will meet you at the Resort Resort (you can rent a car or take a taxi from the airport), show you the suite, give you the keys, and will provide emergency assistance. Complete cleaning and linen change before arrival, and once a week. Midweek cleaning provided. Babysitting services are available. Most toiletries are provided.

We have traveled the Caribbean extensively, and, in our view, Grace Bay Beach on Provo in the Turks & Caicos Islands is overall the best place to vacation. And, tropically landscaped Royal West Indies Resort is the perfect niche resort, with large attractively appointed one-bedroom suites.
From the moment we walked into this beautiful condo we knew we had chosen the right place to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We wanted somewhere special and had spent a lot of time researching various resorts before selecting this one. We were enchanted with the views from the wrap-around balcony. The resort grounds were magnificent and beautifully maintained.
The condo itself is very spacious and attractively furnished . Everything was provided to make our stay special. We only went out for dinner twice as we enjoyed sitting on the beautiful, white-sand beach until quite late, then having drinks on the balcony before preparing dinner. At night, the lights around the gardens and pools are very pretty. We enjoyed going down into the gardens and relaxing in the hot tub or pool.
The staff was very helpful and everyone was friendly and courteous, speaking to us when we passed on our way to the beach. We used the bikes provided by the resort to peddle the short distance to the local grocery, and the staff helped us to get started since it had been awhile since we had been on bikes. We could also walk along the beach to the stores.
The restaurant at the resort was very good. We did not feel the need to rent a car with everything being within walking distance. The condo is just a short walk to the beach. There were always plenty of chairs, umbrellas, and towels. There were numerous water activities available, but we preferred to just sit on the beach and relax. It is a quiet, laid-back resort, perfect for a getaway.
The condo owner was very helpful and had corresponded with us several times prior to the trip, answering all our questions.
We found a week not long enough. We hope to return some time and stay longer.
Would definitely rate both condo and resort this 5 stars!
We stayed 5 days at the condo and had a wonderful experience. The condo was clean and well kept and right next to both pools and the restaurant. The kids really enjoyed wandering between pools and visiting with their newfound friends and quickly made it their home. We found the grounds quiet and relaxing and the quiet pool was a great way to keep our own kids quiet. The beach is a short walk and Royal West Indies has plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas. Grace Bay is one of the best beaches we have ever seen and we have been to Hawaii, Jamaica and Mexico to name a few. The water is crystal clear and has such beautiful shades of blue. The white sand beach made for several unforgettable walks. We booked the Caicos Dream Tour and they picked us up at the lobby and dropped us off right off at the beach for incredible convenience. The staff was very friendly. We rarely would like to visit the same place twice, but this place could be the exception. We feel that Grace Bay is one of the best destinations for a beach vacation.
The stay in West Indies Resort vas very nice. A superb beach and a very nice resort was a good base for a perfect stay.
However, some points should be enhanced to adjust the level of comfort to the amount charged.
The support by the local representatives (Royal Realty TCI) wasn't bad, it hardly existed.
At the beginning, nobody came to the airport and we had to find our way to the apartment with the help of the restaurant staff. The Resort Reception couldn't support us (private property).
During our stay, the maintenance of the condo didn't fit the announcement as specified on the VRBO portal:
The tumbler was full of laundry we had to store somewhere. The mid-week cleaning was done after a complaint.
The end-week cleaning was omitted and the linen was never changed. Even after a phone call to the local representative,
nobody came to replace it.
The condo itself requires some maintenance too: Parts of the equipment don't work or are broken (toaster, DVD player, microwave oven and matress)
There's obviously some potential to enhance the quality of the condo. But the owner didn't reply to my comments. He seems not to be interested, to change it.
However, we had a very good time in Provo and hope to come back again - perhaps to another condo!
We spent 9 days at this condo in April, 2012. The condo is very nice and as depicted in the photos. The resort is excellent with beautiful grounds, friendly people, gorgeous beach, nice restaurant and two pools. Owner was very easy to work with and answered all questions in a timely manner. Would definitely return to this condo.
From start to finish our experience at this resort and with this owner was a pleasure. The owner answered all our questions and was very patient us. The room was clean and well appointed. The only thing my wife mentioned was that the linens some of the upholstery could use a little updating but I would not have even noticed that. The resort itself was charming and great for our family. The grounds were very well maintained and beautiful. The staff were the friendliest that we have experienced in a long long time. They remembered our names and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. I love to snorkel and unfortunately a weather front came through during our visit...the water at Grace Bay was too rough for snorkeling, but a 15 minute drive to Sapodilla Bay brought us calm winds and water. Definitely call the folks at Caicos Dream Tours and go on a half-day snorkel and conch dive, it was the highlight of our week.
We stayed for a week in May. The description and pictures were accurate. The owner was easy to work with and answered all emails promptly. The suite is very well equipped. The resort property is well kept and beach chairs with umbrellas were always available. I would recommend this rental and hope to stay there again.
