Located in the prestigious Wild area in the sunniest part of Saas Fee, this luxurious stand-alone chalet enjoys breathtaking views of the mountains, valleys and glaciers. The chalet is bright and airy with light streaming in from the huge picture windows. Newly renovated in 2006, this elegant chalet is built over 3 storeys and furnished in contemporary style to a high standard. The large open plan living area on the top floor features a fully equipped Poggenpohl kitchen, a stunning log fire place, a delightfully sunny terrace, a dining area and a state of the art TV and DVD player. The middle floor comprises of one twin and one double bedroom, both have access to south facing balconies with fabulous views and a stylish shower room. The master bedroom on the ground floor enjoys the luxury of a sitting area (with double sofa bed) and an en suite bathroom complete with Jacuzzi bath.

Known as the 'pearl of the alps' Saas Fee is a charming, picturesque village nestling high at 1800m amongst the beautiful scenery of the Swiss Alps. Surrounded by majestic four thousand metre peaks and spectacular glaciers, this enchanting resort offers some of the finest year-round skiing in the region. Apres-ski is relaxed and varied in the resort's bars, nightclubs and wonderful local restaurants. And whilst offering a variety of shops on its attractive cobbled streets, the ambiance of this car-free village remains truly authentic and unspoilt. For non-skiers there are lovely mountain walks in alpine air which remains fresh and clean in this traffic-free resort. Other activities include sledging, tobogganing, ice-skating on the natural ice rink or relaxing in the sports centre which has a tennis court and indoor pool. The chalet is a 7-10 min walk (500m) to the centre of Saas Fee, a 15 min walk (700-800m) to the main lifts, a 2min walk (100m) to the ski bus stop.

After going to Zermatt over twenty times in six years, going to Saas Fee made a nice change. Its a friendly town with a much more relaxed feel about it. Off-piste is superb.
The chalet itself was excellent with every modern convenience (including fast wifi for us that still do work while away!) and was in impeccable condition. The view over the valley down to Saas Grund was wonderful. Highly recommended.
