A self-catering, 2 bed en-suite beachfront property with garden.

This lovely two bedroom condo is family owned and this is definitely reflected in its ambience and style .dvds ,games,kayaks ,bikes and snorkelling equipment .Each bedroom has ensuite full bathrooms with fluffy towelling robes and hand made soaps ,Dvd players and ipod decks .Adris the maid comes in daily and will babysit if needed .The well stocked garden is the perfect place to sunbathe and the lounge deck is ideal for a shaded snooze or pre dinner drinks !

Private steps take you down to the beach with its glorious white sand .While all shops,banks and hotels are a mere ten minute walk away .A welcome pack is there on arrival and Mike our taxi driver meets you at the airport .

Grenada is known as one of the last unspoilt jewels of the Caribbean and only 8 hours or so from the UK. Its main beach, Grand Anse is just 5 minutes walk from the apartment and has just been voted the worlds 4th best beaches! It is a safe island with very low crime rates and equally great for shopping and lounging on the beach as for heading off into the rain forest or up a mountain to explore to wonderous views. Our apartment is situated in a quiet, spectacular bay called Morne Rouge. Private steps take you down to the picture perfect Caribbean beach; clear, warm waters and white sand. The apartment is ideal in location for people wanting to relax in a paradise hideaway yet it is close to the hustle and bustle of St Georges for those wanting to experience culture or fun outdoor activities and water sports. Grenada is known as the Spice Island and life there is relaxed, colourful and most of all fun!

  • We can also book you in for shorter trips from 2-5 nights. Low season can sometimes be the best time to visit Grenada. The sun is still beating hot but there is a cooler breeze great for if you are not keen on the heat but desperate to enjoy the Caribbean. Off-season is our favourite time with less tourists and more locals out enjoying the beaches and markets. There is also carnival week which is essential for anyone who likes music, fun and plenty of dancing.
  • We can also help arrange extra services such as car hire, activities e.t.c. to make your holiday stress free.
    Transfers to and from the airport are included in your weekly rate.

  • Both bathrooms are kitted out with everything you could need. They both come with baths and Hans Grohe Rain Dance showers as well, of course, as wash basins and toilets. Each bathroom has a hair dryer . Each bathroom comes with big, fluffy towelling robes, bath towels, face towels and face cloths for you to use during your stay. There are also locally handmade soaps for you to use made from Nutmeg and Vanilla.

  • THE GARDEN ROOM. Hexagonal room with french doors onto the garden with fabulous views over the bay. A designer hand made quilt, driftwood lamps and pictures give this a distinctive Caribbean flare with a luxurious and tranquil feel. There is plenty of space for quiet time to either watch a DVD, read or just enjoy those amazing views! The bedroom leads into a dressing room with a mirror and wardrobes. There is a luxury full bathroom with a shower and a bath. The room is light and airy with full mosquito nets on the windows and air conditioning. THE BEACH ROOM. This room can be either two single beds or a king size double there is also a day bed. The beds are covered with exquisitely handmade designer quilts. This room is very tranquil with beautiful beach scene framed prints and a large wardrobe. There is also a luxury full bathroom with bath and shower, a DVD player and flat screen monitor for films or games and of course full air conditioning and a ceiling fan.

Arrival: To make your arrival happy and relaxing we arrange transfers straight from the airport to your door.Mike our driver will on request stop at the supermarket before taking you to the condo ;(as he has to wait for you he will charge a small fee )

We also have a local mobile phone in the apartment with easy to use 'top up cards' which makes sorting out dinner reservations, activities and taxis easy and inexpensive.

Maid service: The lovely Adrias will be in every day to clean and tidy the apartment for you. You can arrange the best time of day for her to come so you can make the most of those lazy lie-ins.Adris will on request babysit .

Dive packages and scuba diving packages available .We have a toy box that is now free of charge and contains two kayaks,two bikes and snorkelling equipment

A great place to stay

Just a quick note to say how much we enjoyed staying at 4 Mahogany Run.
 
The apartment is beautiful, spotless but homely, child friendly, cool and very relaxing. The welcome package of bread, butter, coffee and beer was very welcome!! We were looked after so well by Adriss who never made us feel uncomfortable about sandy feet or unmade beds! It was so nice to be met at the airport by Mike who we continued to bump into around the island throughout the week! Also in the house there is a mountain of useful information about where to go to eat, what to see etc, a fantastic library of DVDs and books galore.
 
We enjoyed so many things in Grenada, the beaches are beautiful, the waterfalls and rainforests spectacular, the food was delicious (especially Fish Friday in Gouyave), the weather fantastic (despite the odd rainfall) and the people are the friendliest we have ever known. Our arms ached with waving at people from the car as we passed and we had permanent smiles glued to our faces. We can honestly say we drove along nearly every stretch of concreted road and dirt track on the whole island as we kept taking wrong turns, but there was always someone happy to tell us how to get back on track, and it meant we saw much more of the island and met so many more people than we would have done had we had a better map!
 
 We would definitely recommend 4 Mahogany Run to anyone asking us advice on where to stay when visiting Grenada.

Relaxing in Paradise

What a fabulous time we had in this beautiful appartment. We were picked up at the airport by Mike, who became our travel advisor and chauffeur for the 2 weeks. (Much easier and safer than hiring a car!!) From the number of times he sounds his horn, he knows everyone on the island!
Adris, the housekeeper is a treasure as well. In fact everyone on the island is so friendly.
We woke on our first morning to look down to the bay, with its fabulous white sandy beach and the sun was beating down. It must have taken all of 2 hours to have settled into the serenity of this island paradise. The bay is protected from the main ocean currents and winds, and so the waves onto this beach are really gentle, not like some of the others nearby.
Mike gave us a great tour of the island and arranged for us to do the dinghy and snorkelling safari. We would recommend both of these activities.
The pre arrival advice was essential, especially how to cope with the mosquitos.
If you want to chill out (sorry, to lime!!), lay on a beach, read books and contemplate the meaning of life, then this holiday and this apartment ticked all our boxes. Many thanks to Bridget, Mike and Adris, for making it a special time for us.

Loved the apartment!

We spent 10 great days and didn't want to leave. We even spent many evenings in, cooking our own meals, because it has such a cosy, romantic feel, and it's so beautifully and lovingly decorated.

It is also on the best beach of the island, the only one that's calm; all the others that we went to were pounded by the waves, and we couldn't swim. Bernard, who rents the yellow/white sunbeds, made us a special price, and kept providing us with fresh fruit. Alternatively, you can use the hotel green/white sunbeds for free if you buy drinks.

The other great advantage was the introduction to Mike, the friendly,careful and reliable taxi-driver/ knowledgable tour guide. We did several tours with him, and we did not hire a car. We reckon we saved money, as we did not venture out everyday. We also used the frequent and fun buses to St.George's, for great food shopping in the market.

And of course, the lovely Adris made our stay very comfortable. Thanks a million to everyone! We will be back!

Liming in Grenada 2011.

We had a fantatsic time in Grenada at this wonderful condo, which is real a home from home. The location is ideal and the beach is less then five minutes walk away. There are a good choice of faboulous restaurants and bars near by.

We found the accomodation to be extremely comfortable, offering all the facilities you could possibly need - great library of books & DVD's. Both bedrooms are ensuite with bath and shower and fitted to a very high standard. Luxury bathrobes provided make you feel pampered. 4 Mahogny Run was very clean and maintained to a high standard.


Everyone we have come accross on island has been so friendly and in particular the team of Mike and Adris who have been there to help throughout, nothing is too much trouble.

Bridget the owner had given us a wealth of information prior to our visit, there was also a careful put together information book with recommended restaurants and places to visit- she has thought of everything . We particularly enjoyed our tours with Mike. The Aquarium Restaurant is a must visit, best day being a Sunday lunch time to enjoy the live music. The market in St Georges is well worth a trip to soak up the culture whilst buying local spices and crafts.

Alternatively kick back & l"lime" on the numerous white sandy beaches.

We can't wait to visit the island again and stay at the amazing condo.

Also very glad you like the condo;I am back in March to put a sun deck in the garden with an eating area overlooking the sea all designed and done by Albert from Bay gardens who is part of the Grenadian Chelsea team who create those fabulous gold medal gardens....very excited and sure guests will love it .

A home away from home

My husband and I stayed for wonderful eight days in this gorgeous apt on this beautiful island with its perfect location. The apt. was very clean and had everything you could possibly need. The master bedroom was big, the bed comfortable, the AC kept the heat out at night, the bathrooms had both a tub and the kitchen a well kept gas stove and oven. The garden and outside sitting area was quite and a perfect place to take a bath in the sun with a nice and welcoming outside shower. The beach was only a 30 sec walk away, clean with beautiful white sand and warm clear water. The neighbors and local people we met very nice, helpful and great company. The nearest supermarket was only a 10 minute walk away and it was easy to catch a van to get into town.
After all, perfect for old and young, families, couples and singles. We'd definitely come back and can recommend this to all the travelers out there
