Stunning luxury 4 bed villa-pool/play area - luxuriously appointed throughout and is set in an exclusive close of private villas, the outstanding position means there is no need for car hire, minutes from bars and restaurants at Playa Bastian and only 1-75 km from center of Costa Teguise (15 min stroll along a lovely beach promenade). The villa is ideal for large families or groups looking for that extra luxury this villa has on offer, such as deep padded cushions to all sun beds / 2 swinging hammocks, large barbecue, dining exterior tables front and rear and the large cane sofa. The front patio with easy chair and sofa has been much appreciated by clients taking elderly parents as they state it is a quiet area away from the pool, offering shade from the wooden pagoda. Child's play area with trampoline/slide/Wendy house/ water table+paddle pool +mats computer with broadband and wireless/ saterlite English TV /limited sky tv/play station 2.- NOTE!! Costa Teguise has an excellent selection of shops, bars and restaurants and an interesting hand craft fair held every Friday evening in the centre of the town. It is also the location of the Beatriz Hotel which has a fantastic Thalasso Spa and Wellness Centre which is open to non-residents. Only a few minutes' drive is the islands 18 hole, international standard, golf course, close to restaurant with free bouncy castle +close to the aqua park.

About Sue

We are Grandparents of 7 children -2 of them infants- so our villa has been adapted to keep the children safe + which gives parents and grandparents more relaxation time. Reading our reviews I think the gates to the pool is very much appreciated!- also when we bought the villa we wanted the children to be able to swim all year around- this has been achieved at great expense- we have a heat pump thermastically controlled to give a guaranteed temp of 25 degrees throughout the year- a must for winter holidays with infants. There is no need for car hire as the beach is just 700 metre away and the town just 15/20 mins walk along a lovely paved area overlooking the sea- which is traffic free-lovely to let the children walk without worry of cars etc.

We are truly in love with Costa Teguise with its beautiful beaches-fabulous restaurants and tapas bars. Just 150 metres from the villa is one of the best tapas bars on the island- Casa Louis- also the Navarro restaurant rated number 2 on trip adviser- for those looking for a peaceful holiday with children+and grandparents in mind this villa tick every box which i think our reviews prove!.

Our play area is enjoyed by all the little ones and i am blessed with marvelous staff who do everything they can to ensure your holiday is memorable.

We also have a luggage store for the last day enabling clients to just pop back when their collection is due (if a late departure).

Costa Teguise is one of the main tourist resorts on the island of Lanzarote and is situated just north of Arrecife in the north east region of the island. The name literally translates into coast of Teguise, Lanzarote´s former capital.

The resort has low rise large hotels and apartments where architecture and landscape have been harmoniously integrated, as well as the main beach of Las Cucharas there are many other waterfront areas to choose from.

Costa Teguise is a pleasant tranquil resort, which has developed over the past fifteen years. The standard of accommodation is extremely high and plays host to many four and five star hotels, as well as many aparthotels and apartments.

If sport is your thing then Costa Teguise is well worth a visit. With several diving centres, golf courses and bicycle hire shops all at arms length you can't go far wrong. For families, Ocean Water Park is based just 2km inland from Costa Teguise which boasts water slides, flumes and heated swimming pool

Other Activities: There is a lovely playground on this estate of private villas

Golf: Brochures available on golfing rates and the course only 3 km away- also just metres from the golf is a lovely restaurant with a bouncy castle- lots of clients- drop their wives with the children here while they have a game of golf-golf open to non members.

Fabulous destination for families with young children- lots of playgrounds-bungie trampolines in the main town-hotels welcome non residents for mini disco and shows-great day out to rancho Texas a must- see www.ranchotexaslanzarote on the internet.

Car Hire can be arranged from £105 per week to collect from the airport(Ibiza) taxi service to villa excellent 17 euros for 4 people per car. Collection service available for 95 euros return for 6 people-60 euros for 4 people return. There is a washing machine and dishwasher /sky TV/ play station/play area/DVDs/videos/lockable gate to pool-ideal toddlers/TV in all bedrooms. The villa is maintained to a very high standard and there are no extras charges!!- for baby equipment/ safe /Internet access/welcome pack/ towels/linen and cleaning once per week all included in your quotation(pool and garden serviced twice per week).English speaking doctor lives next door villa-private charge for call-out (which can be claimed back via insurance).

Absolutley Fantastic!!

I found this villa online last year upon return from a dreadful stay in a resort and after reading the reviews, looking at the photographs etc, I knew we weren't going to be disappointed.

When we opened the front door on arrival, my first thought was wow! the photos I'd viewed online, lovely as they are, do not do this wonderful property justice. The villa was clean, very spacious and had all the home comforts you need. We are a family of four including 2 children, aged 6 & 7 and the property had everything you could think of to keep the kids entertained. They particularly loved the trampoline and of course the pool, (which was a lovely warm temperature) and also liked to help to water the lovely patio plants. Villa Victoria was able to keep all the family happy, hubby could stay in the shade keeping his beer cool whilst I soaked up the sun with the kids by the pool. Lovely evening bbq's were enjoyed by all.

The villa has a lovely location, set in a quiet residential area but just a short walk from the nearest amenities. The kids particluar liked the play park just around the corner.

The owner Sue, has thought of everything, this is a real "home from home". She gives accurate and valuable advice prior to departure and also is on hand throughout your stay as and when required.

The only regret we have is not booking for 2 weeks. Will definately be returning to Villa Victoria.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Wonderful Holiday Villa

Before I begin my review on this villa, I would like to take this opportunity to thank Sue Yates (owner) for what can only be described as First Class Service. Sue does everything prior to arriving at this wonderful villa to ensure that your stay is nothing less than enjoyable from telling you where the best places are to eat and drink the days that the market is on and also places that are really child friendly (soft play areas) all of which she has tried and tested herself...Thank You Sue
As a family of 6 adults and 2 grandchildren (53,49,34,28,26,25,7,20mnths) we arrived at the villa and couldn't believe how spacious it was and also how well equipped it was not only for the adults but also for the children everything that is described in the advert is there and more and can I also say that everything is in first class condition. The walk into the town is approx 15mins but there are some shops nearer I would also recommend taking up the offer of being taken to the hypermarket by Jackie (who looks after the villa ) it is well worth it to get the main bulk of your shopping here. a few places that we ate at that I would recommend are the Montmartre which is on the road into town 3 courses for 15 euros (adults only) and also the Chinese buffet which was well worth the 13 euros (all main courses you choose what you want and it is cooked fresh in front of you with also a choice of 8 different Chinese sauces) far better than the way its done in the UK. Although the weather was not that great the advantage of having your own heated swimming pool made the difference to us all.
I would definitely recommend this villa to everyone ...First Class

Fantastic Family Villa

My partner, myself and 2 young children travelled to Lanzarote with my parents to this wonderfull villa. My only complaint would be that we did not book it for longer. The villa has everything that one would need for a wonderful relaxing holiday. The villa is very spacious so we did not feel on top of one another, it is very homely. It is also very secure especially if you have young children like we did, my children are 3 and 18 months. There was a gate to stop them from running into the pool, infact there was secure gates everywhere. The sonas sound system was just fantastic, we had never heard of it before but all you do is type in who you would like to listen too and on it comes. The villa is very clean, really is kept to a high standard. It is within walking distance of local supermarket and bars and restaurants but if you feel like a further walk then that's there as a choice too, no car needed. The square of costa teguise was about a 15 minute walk and was lovely and very reasonably priced. We chose to walk on to Los Curachas beach which my kids thoroughly enjoyed, this was a nicer beach than the one at Playa Bastian. We ate in a restaurant called Peskera while down at this beach as it was directly opposite and I would recommend this restaurant, staff were lovely and again very reasonably priced. I would like to mention the pool at the villa, I felt for us with small children that it was not suitable as it does not have a shallow and deep end, as my children cannot swim i found this unsuitable as i would have needed to stand up to play around with them, this is not a critiscm though as the pool is wonderful if you have older children or would like a swim yourself, plenty inflatables too, I just wanted to give my view on it. All in all we had a wonderfull time and are looking to book to come back next year. Costa Teguise is a lovely resort which caters for familes or older couples not looking for nightlife.

Anyway as you say this didn't spoil your families experience. We stayed in August with peak temperatures around 32-35 degrees, and children up to age of 3. Everything needed was provided including tv and videos in the children's room, towels for the pool, toys and the all important trampoline.

About a 15-20 minute walk to the beach, the shops and restaurants are closer, and the town about 30 minutes [?]. Wind kept us cool and we spent most of the time at the house. Beaches fine/average (but we didnt use them). And cannot comment on the nightlife (but expect this would not score too highly!).

Lovely stay in August 2012

Thank you for a lovely week at your villa. We really enjoyed our stay there. Having a toddler and a nearly crawling baby can make it difficult to relax even on holiday but the set up of the house with all the gates and all the lovely toys and 'stuff' that was provided for young children, meant we were able to relax and enjoy ourselves. For those people trying to find a villa that suits the needs of toddlers it is pretty close to perfect!
Luckily it wasn't too hot at night so the fans were sufficient, I wouldn't have liked it to be any hotter without AC. The walk down to the beach was fine and there was a little supermarket that suited all our needs. The walk into town was about 30 mins (with prams etc) but it was an enjoyable stroll along a lovely promenade by the sea. the beaches were ok but we made full use of the pool at the villa.

just the right distance from the airport but if you are getting a transfer to the villa and are tight on child seats double check with the company as they turned up for us with completely wrong seats and we had to hold the children. Luckily it wasn't too far.

All in all a fab villa definitely worth recommending, thank you !
