A rare find! Property with pool close to the historic centre of the medieval city of Lucca, also within walking distance of station (20 to 30 Min walk) for easy exploring. This villa has been converted into two light, airy & spacious apartments accessed from the same landing so perfect for a large group seeking some individual privacy. The villa has been finished to a high standard, with good quality furniture, fabrics & fittings & luxury bathrooms. There are 2 bedrooms in each apartment (can be double or twin) & 2 luxury bathrooms in each too (1 with bath & shower over, & 1 one with extra large shower cubicle with seating area). Each apartment is individually equipped with an open plan living/kitchen/diner with good quality sofa bed. Each also has a terrace. Also, ideal for those larger parties for when you all wish to eat together, there is a further large kitchen diner to accommodate you all, leading from the pool area, and a 2nd large living room too.

The villa is 2km from the historic centre of Lucca and the train station for easy exploring. Lucca is renowned for its beautiful fully intact walled historic centre, good restaurants, bars, designer shops, wonderful architecture, magnificent squares, parks on the wall, cycling in town and on the wall.

Notes: Facilities are as follows: Each apartment has hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, oven, good quality sofa bed, dining area, Sat TV, DVD, CD etc. There is also a further 'communal ' area, shared between the two apartments with a very large living room, leading to covered games area, and a third kitchen with sufficient dining for 12, fully equipped, including dishwasher. This area leads to the pool area and so is ideal for preparing drinks and snacks when relaxing in the garden. There is a separate laundry room and downstairs WC. There is air conditioning and insect screens throughout. NB - the owners live on site but they have an independent entrance, parking etc. They do not use gardens or pool. They will fully respect your privacy but will be on hand if you need help with anything.

Living room leads to back garden with games. CD, DVD etc. Then, upstairs, two apartments off same landing with spacious hallways, 2 bedrooms (can be double or twin); two luxury bathrooms (one shower room and one bathroom), open plan kitchen, living diners with good quality sofa bed, and terrace. Each apartment has internet access, air conditioning, insect screens, SAT TV, DVD, CD, oven, hob, fridge/freezer etc and comfy seating. Good views. Outside there is a garden surrounding the villa - fully enclosed and electronically gated; Parking; Pool area - pool 8M x 4M with Roman Steps; Pool services (WC etc); Laundry room.

Bicycles provided on request, at extra cost. On request the owner can meet guests at airport or Lucca station. Owners can assist with day trips/tours etc A personal chef can be arranged for evenings at home (with notice). A very flexible property - ideal for a family holiday, good for couples too with the privacy of own bathrooms and also for a romantic weekend away in a well furnished central property . Owners live on site, but are discreet and fully respect privacy. They do not use the garden or pool and have their own entrance and parking etc

we really enjoyed this villa.the family live on the premises but are really unobtrusive,but very friendly and helpful. It is only a 10mins drive to the centre of lucca .we would recomend it for either a family of 4-6 or maybe a couple of adult couples as there are two seperate apartments.
