This stylish apartment is located in a period building in the historic centre of Stresa on Lake Maggiore. Stresa is an elegant beautiful town lying at the foot of the Italian Alps.
The apartment has Internet WiFi, air-conditioning, central heating and satellite TV.
The apartment is minutes (100 metres) from the lake where you can take a boat trip to the Borromean islands or even to Switzerland or you can swim and sail and practice many water sports. It was recently renovated and finished to a high standard and tastefully furnished in a modern style. In the car-free pedestrianised zone, it is close to many restaurants, boutiques, shops and cafés. It is near the Palazzo dei Congressi.
The railway station is only a 10 minute walk (800 metres) and there are direct trains to the centre of Milan (50 minutes). The bus-stop for the lakeside towns of Verbania and Arona is very near.
The apartment is less than an hour from Milan Malpensa Airport (45 km) and 85 km from Milan itself. From the end of March to the end of September there is a bus service (Alibus) which takes you directly from Malpensa airport to the apartment in under an hour. It stops at the church on the lake, 3 minutes' walk from the apartment.
There is free parking 200-300m away; pay-parking at the lake.
Minimum stay is 3 days. The apartment available all year round.
I have other rentals in Stresa and on Lake Maggiore, Lake Orta, Lake Como and Lake Garda.
