CAPTIVA PALMS is a luxurious home offered for rental in the recently finished development of Sabal Harbour, situated in the Bradenton/Sarasota area. The house is designed and furnished with comfort and relaxation in mind. The southerly facing patio and pool afford some spectacular sunrise and sunsets and also overlook a small lake, and wildlife reserve where an abundance of native wildlife resides. The villa is furnished and decorated to a high standard and the pool, lawns and plants are tended weekly to make your stay enjoyable and relaxing. Air conditioning is standard throughout.Ceiling fans in all rooms except the bathrooms. The 27' TV is connected to Verizon FIOS Premium, Sports and Film packages. There are FREE US and CANADIAN phone calls and access to the internet is available via a wireless hub. The villa has two double bedrooms, the master has a 6 foot wide bed with en suite facilities and two double bedrooms adjacent to the second bathroom

Captiva Palms is situated near the Bradenton / Sarasota allowing easy access to both cities. The world famous white sandy beaches of Anna Maria Island, Sarasota Bay &Longboat Key are only a short drive away. Here one can spend the day swimming, fishing or sampling the many local watersports in the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Or maybe just lazing on the beautiful white sands. There are several golf courses nearby for a more athletic vacation. If shopping is your idea of a holiday, this area is ideal. There are numerous shops and malls in Bradenton and Sarasota plus one of the largest outlet malls in Florida only 15 minutes drive away at Ellenton. There is also the exquisite St Armarnds Circle just outside Sarasota for those with the taste for expensive boutiques and restaurants. For those who require recharging their batteries at a theme park, Busch Gardens is under an hour’s drive away and the various theme parks of Orlando are only a 90 minute drive.

  • The larger of the two bathrooms is en-suite to the master bedroom. It comprises of two sinks, large mirrors with vanity lighting and a shaver point. A hairdryer is also provided. The large walk in shower has seating and there is a separate WC. There is also a closet plus a walk-in dressing room. The second bathroom is situated off the hallway between the two twin bedrooms. The basin faces a large mirror with vanity lighting, shaver point and a hairdryer is supplied.

Notes: The rental cost of the villa includes provision of all bedding plus bath, beach and tea towels. There is an assortment of pool toys, fishing rods with tackle and bait box, a cool box and two beach chairs for your use. A small selection of DVDs and videos are available for your entertainment. Baby cots and high chairs are bookable at a fee. (This service must be ordered at the time of booking) At the centre of the community there is a play area, volleyball net, basketball hoops and community pool - an ideal place for children and adults to make new friends. For your safety whilst in the house there are two fire extinguishers and the fire detectors are wired up centrally to the alarm system. POOL AREA: The swimming pool area is completely caged in and enjoys lovely views to the rear. It is equipped with a filtration system and electric pool heater. Pool heating available at extra charge. Advisable October until March.

A beautiful home in an excellent location

This property was exactly as described - a really beautiful home with everything you require for a perfect holiday. It is very well equipped and maintained to a high standard.

The pool which overlooked the lake was wonderful - very clean and maintained weekly.

The house is very well situated, with shopping malls and beaches within easy reach.

Anna Maria Island is just a short distance away and well worth a visit - a walk onto the fishing pier is a must.

There are numerous restaurants within easy reach - including the chains Red Lobster and Olive Garden, providing good value for money. Two further chains- Perkins and Bob Evans are excellent for breakfast, and again not far away.There are also opportunities for fine dining close by.

If you are a member of the English shopping team as I am, a trip to Ellerton outlets is highly recommended, and just a few miles away! The shops in Sarasota are also worth a visit - plenty of Malls to choose from.

We chose this coast for its abundance of beautiul quiet beaches,wonderful wild life and peace and tranquility. However, if you want to visit the theme parks Orlando is about two hours drive away, and Busch Gardens just up the road at Tampa, nearer still.

We have had a perfect holiday and will certainly be back. I highly recommend this property.

The Villa is comfortable with all equipment required for a prolonged stay. Sabal Harbour is in a good location to visit locations such as Sarasota, St Armands,Venice, St Petes, and Orlando 90 mins possible.

We stayed at this lovely villa at the end of June and enjoyed all it had to offer with very comfortable furnishing.
a well equiped kitchen and a super pool. It was very clean and well maintained. It is well positioned for visiting the coast ( anna maria island is fabulous) and is in striking distance of Busch gardens and Orlando attractions.
Locally the restaurants are great , Applebees,Chillis etc their are some top eateries on anna maria island.
The owner was very helpfull and friendly and even called on our return home to make sure we had enjoyed our stay.

Bradento Villa

I had several conversations with the owner prior to our stay. He was one of the most helpful guys you could wish for and that in itself is a rareity these days. Straight away, I was at ease that I was making a good choice.
None of the information provided was misleading, it "did what it said on the tin" as they say.
The villa is in superb condition and very modern. There wasn`t anything else that we needed. The surrounding area is very peaceful and relaxing.
I travelled with my wife, 3 kids, (15 to 22 ) and mum.
No one was dissappointed or bored.
There is plenty to do in the area, but as with most places in the states, if you don`t have a car, forget it.
We managed Disney, Busch gardens the beach, shopping till dropping, all from here. Very easy access to the highways. Switch on the cruise control sit back and enjoy the ride.
Like any area though, you make your own discoveries on restaurants shops things to do, but there is lots of information to get you going.
All in all we had a fantastic time.
