Comprising two bedrooms one double the other bedroom two single beds. Kitchen, bathroom and spacious living/dining area overlooking a pleasant quiet Palm lined side-street. Recently refitted and furnished to a good standard throughout. Fully air-conditioned throughout with reverse cycle for year round comfort. Excellent communications with metro/tram direct for the beach 15min and Valencia City airport 45min (line 3 and change at Benimaclet for line 4) at Pont de Fusta. Ferias 20mins, Biopark 14mins. 3-4 minutes walk. Free on-street car-parking, although can be busy. Apt accessed within 15 min from all major motorways with sat-nav.

Beach of Malverosa and Biopark etc.: Direct metro access at Pont de Fusta (line 4) 3 minutes walk for the port/ marina and the wide sandy 'Blue flag' beach of Malverossa with safe bathing. Cheap and easy @ 0.61 cents (with a 'Bonmetro' 10 tickets for €6.10) and 18 mins travelling. Sunday Times U.K 21/07/09 rated for party lovers. Cafe del Mar etc. El Saler, Valencia's premier beach. At 40 km long this glorious sandy beach with a duned backdrop has to rate as Valencia Province's finest unspoilt beach. Take the bus from Plaza de la Reina, 15 mins walk from apt, outside McDonald's is the terminus direct to El Saler, travelling time 30/40 mins. Choice of restaurants- once there. Public showering areas to wash out the salt. No 'shoe-horning' a space on this beach you could be pleasantly surprised............when compared to other supposedly 'rated' beaches. Europes largest Biopark easily accessed in 20 mins via metro for over 1000 species of wildlife in a natural setting.

Formula 1 City circuit: August 2009 is the definitive date in Valencia City for F.1. Great backdrops will provide a spectacular setting for the race-circuit. The Americas Cup Port and the iconic City of Arts and Science is where it will 'be at' and one can access the port directly from the metro at Pont de Fusta line 4 @ just 4 mins away for a quick direct access. Later on in the day the action will be around Malverossa and El Carmen. Accessed via metro and walking respectively. N.B Public transport finishes at just after 23.00 (first course of a Spanish dinner) staying any more then walking distance of El Carmen/old city will involve forking out for cabs.....if your fortunate to find one after 1.am .......as this is Valencia's renowned nocturnal 'hotspot'.

Shopping in Valencia: Valencia boasts five El Cortes Ingles, top class department stores. Two at the Nuevo Shopping Centre just 15 mins walk away. Top notch Spanish designers, Loewe, Adolfo Dominquez, May Mara and Zara, Mango etc shops are all to be found in the chic Calle Colon area. For those who really want to be savvy, check out 'Bonaire' one of Spain's largest well-known out of town shopping mall's for upwards of 80% off top designers and typically 40-50% off end of season runs and over-stock. Great for both men and women who want something more exciting like 'hip' Desigual, 'cool' Adolfo Domiguez, trendy Mango and Zara etc .... Regular bus service every 15 minsfrom bus station next to El Cortes Ingles @ Nuevo Centre around 45 mins or cab 15-18 mins

' Your apartment suited our needs perfectly. We checked the location of various other apartments and found this one matched up to all our requirements for its convenience. We found the locality lively and friendly with everything we needed. The Old City was easy to get to. We also found that with the ease of accessibility and low cost of public transport, it was worthwhile having a couple of enjoyable day-trips around Valencia Province.' A.Rushton. Bristol Jan 2007.

We spent a week at this apartment which was a really lovely, light space,with everything one might need and very clean. The neighbours did have the occasional 'set to' but if it happened,it tended to be late morning when it caused little disturbance. David,the co owner, was excellent and exceptionally helpful,imparting useful info about the local markets, jellyfish stings and internet access,as well as Valencia in general. Platero Suarez is a calm street with numerous coffee shops and a couple of good bakeries as you head towards Avenida de Constitucion.The kebab shop downstairs is open til midnight -the cheerful owner always up for a chat. La Hipica - 3-4 mins walk away, has a large pool and is an absolute delight on a boiling hot day. The beautiful Jardines de Real, right opposite the pool, is open til 9pm. There are two tram stops close by and the old town is within easy walking distance. I went with my teenage daughter and her friend and we all found plenty to occupy us,not to mention beaches at Malverossa and El Saler should you desire down time. If you want a very civilised base in a peaceful neighbourhood,then the Apartment Suarez is ideal!!

Indeed most of the local cafes and shop owners are very obliging. The pool at La Hipica is excellent with its shadey spaces and usually surprisingly quiet as most locals opt for the beaches. Upstairs overlooking the pool is La Hipica restaurant - open all year round (average ranking 2 & 3rd place in 'La cocina de Valencia' awards) which has large shaded terraces or if you need some respite from the sun the civilsed but informal atmosphere of its air-conditioned salon offers fine dishes in particular the 'menu del dia' at modest prices. Always busy with Valencia's people in the know.
