Bradenton Vacation Rental villa: Regal Oaks

We just returned to the snowy north last night after two wonderful weeks in Bradenton. We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this
home. It was so peaceful and relaxing! We enjoyed the ducks, who became daily visitors and loved watching the bald eagle that frequented the lake. It was great to sit outside by the pool reading and watching all the wildlife.
The home itself was comfortable, with lots of spots to sit and read, watch t.v. or just nap :). The pool was lovely and warm....we used it a lot! The property was clean and very well-maintained.
Throughout the rental process, the owner's e-mails were always friendly and prompt. I would certainly recommend this home to a friend (unless it was for a week that I wanted :))
There is so much to do while you are there. The Ringling Museum in Sarasota is beautiful and includes a massive art gallery. St. Armand's Circle in Longboat Key is a wonderful area for shopping and sight seeing. We enjoyed eating at a restaurant called "Columbias" which has been a fixture there for years. There are a large variety of restaurants in Bradenton. There is a binder of restaurant menus and flyers at the house, which made life easier. There is a great department store just down the street. There is a great outlet mall about 15 minutes away in Ellenton. A trip to Tampa to the International Mall is also an experience. My husband is a golfer and he enjoyed the golf courses nearby, finding that they were reasonably priced. Our favourite beach is Fort DeSoto beach. It is about a 40 minute car ride but well worth the time--it has been voted one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. We also enjoyed Venice Beach (lots of shells and sharks' teeth)

Hopefully we will have a chance to rent it again some time.
