This 2-bedroom ground floor bungalow is situated on a secure complex with gated access. It has a spacious living area with air con/heating. It is furnished & equipped to a high standard including LCD TV & DVD player along with a selection of DVD’s. It has satellite TV with channels including movies, kids, news, BBC,ITV channel 4 & 5. The Kitchen, which is separate, is fully equipped & leads onto a rear patio area.

There are 2 single beds in each bedroom along with wardrobes & drawers, both rooms benefit from air con/heating & the main bedroom is fitted with a safe. A highchair is available at no extra charge and a cot can be hired. To the front of the property is a large patio area with table & seating for 6. The complex benefits from a 20m pool with separate children’s pool. The bungalow is situated in a quiet area but is less than 5 minutes walk to the shops & restaurants. The beach is a 10-min stroll & the nearest golf course is 2 km. Internet access is 5 min walk

Los Alcazares: Los Alcazares has been awarded four EC blue flags for its beaches. Most of the narrow streets lead directly to the 7 kilometres of sandy shore. The nearest shops & restaurants are in the newly completed plaza, which is just a 5-minute walk. Los Alcazares has a wonderful feel about it and with its all year round climate it has something for every season. The town's market day is Tuesday when a wide variety of goods are available. Festivals are an all year round occurrence in the area. Los Alcazares festivals are held at Easter, the second week in August & the middle of October. The historic city of Murcia, is only a 30 minutes drive, its has many designer stores and is charming with its squares & narrow streets. The city of Cartagena is full of fascinating sights & only 15 minutes drive away. They are both well worth exploring for their shops, architecture & history.

The Mar Menor: Few regions are lucky enough to have a salt-water lagoon beside the Mediterranean Sea. Along its 73 kilometres coastline perimeter there are numerous beaches with crystal clear, shallow water (with a maximum depth of 7 metres) making it very safe for children. The Mar Menor lagoon covers an area of 170 km2, making it the biggest salt-water lake in Europe. In the coolest months the temperature of the water is about 12°C while in August it reaches 30°C. The Mar Menor is listed by the World Health Organisation as one of the healthiest places on earth. Many people come to the northern end of the Mar Menor to cover themselves in the black mud from the salinas, which is supposed to be full of all sorts of nutrients. With the many cafes & bars dotted along the beach it's a great way to spend the day & soak up the sun.

Flights & Transfers : Costa Calida is now more accessible than ever with numerous low cost airlines flying into both Murcia (San Javier MJV) & Alicante from all over the UK. There is a 2nd airport planned shortly just outside Murcia city itself. Fly to Murcia (MJV) from the following airports: Gatwick, Luton, Stansted, Cardiff, East Midlands, Newcastle, Leeds-Bradford, Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham, Bristol, Blackpool, Southampton, Prestwick, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Shannon, Dublin, Guernsey & Kent. Most others fly into Alicante which is itself only 45 mins drive away. Fly to Murcia from all over the UK & EIRE on the numerous low cost carriers, and with the resort only a 10 min drive away you won't waste time in a car. A full airport transfer service can be arranged for you from either Murcia or Alicante please enquire for details.

Los Alcazares, which is pronounced Los-Al-cath-ah-res, is located next to the shores of the Mar Menor in the region of Murcia in the south-eastern corner of Spain. The town is on the western shore of the Mar Menor & has 7kms of coastline stretching from Los Narejos to Punta Brava. The blue flagged beaches along the Mar Menor are all interconnected with seating areas, fountains, bicycle lanes & access points for the handicapped. The Mar Menor is a salt-water lagoon of 170 square kilometres with an average temperature that is 5 degrees above that of the Mediterranean. Bars, cafes & restaurants provide drinks, tapas, meals & entertainment. The area enjoys an average of 320 days of sunshine each year, which allows everyone to enjoy the mineral-rich water of the Mar Menor. The water is renowned for its health-giving properties as well as being an ideal location for water sports. Los Alcazares is also the ideal base for golfers as there is no less than 13 courses within a 35 min drive.

Notes: Ideal for families, couples, senior citizens and golfers. Parking is on the complex through electronically controlled gates. There is an iron with ironing board and a hair dryer available in the property along with sun loungers and a BBQ. Los Alcazares beach is blue flag & very safe, the water is very shallow without tides or waves making it ideal for children. There are many beach bars serving snacks & drinks along the edge of the beautiful promenade. There is no smoking in the property, however on the front/rear patio areas would be acceptable. The property is on the ground floor with one small long step onto the front patio area making it accessible for the elderly or infirm. A highchair is available at no extra charge and arrangements can be made for the hire of a cot. Internet access is available within a 5 minute walk.

Extremely well equipped bungalow situated very close to the on site pool so literally a two minute walk with your sunloungers (also provided). Fantastic collection of DVD's for the children. Beds very comfortable. Five minutes walk from the Plaza where all the restaurants are and ten minutes walk to the lovely clean beach. The pick up and drop off service arranged by Louise the owner excellent and well worth 12 Euro charge each way, Welcome pack very much appreciated. We will definitely be returning.

Just a quick note to thank Louise, had a wonderful stay, really enjoyed it. Location was perfect, peaceful complex, and ten min walk to plaza and beach. Visited the market on Tuesday, got some fab bread, olives etc, wish we were able to be there for the nearby bigger Market held on Saturdays! Apartment had everything you needed, clean and comfortable, gardens were beautifully kept. Will definitely recommend to family and friends and will be returning!!! Thank you providing extra water as requested and making our holiday fab! Alexandria & David!

Our first time away with our 3 kids,( ages 3,4,& 9) a very well equipped apartment with everything for the kids as well as our selfs,lovely pool, sky tv,games and dvds for the kids when they would take a break from the pool,the main plaza is just 10 minutes from the apartment as is the beach and all other amenities,the complex it self is very secure which was very important for us were the kids were concerned,the airport is just 10 minutes from the apartment which is great when you have kids,the apartment was very clean with everything you need for self catering,a really great holiday had by all,i would have no problem in recommending this property.

I found the apartment clean and well stocked with books games etc the tv was a bit tempramental that could have been the weather which we didn,t have the best off but the complex was very clean and tidy and well situated

Beautiful apartment and lovely location.Is exactly like the photos! was great to be picked up from the airport and shown around the complex. Everything was in easy reach and the kids loved the pool. The welcome pack was just what we needed when we arrived. Just a perfect family holiday.
