La Provence Verte: the Green Provence is a land with character shaped by the locals and approved “region of art and history” by the Minister of Culture and Communication thanks to its rich heritage. This landscape that gathers together 43 villages starts in the centre of the Var and stretches to the Western Haut-Var to end at the border with Alpes-de-Haute-Provence. This stunning heritage adds to the traditional colours of Provence, the blue of the rivers and the Argens River. Mixed with the yellow sun, it creates the omnipresent green woods on lands dedicated to lovers of nature and outdoor activities. Here local products are pleasant. From the Roman period, plains and terraces are planted with vines and olive trees that offer rosé and high quality oils. This land is aptly named because everything is focused on nature protection. It is no coincidence if Correns, first organic village or France, is located in Provence Verte. Lovers of conviviality, nature, local products, this land was made for you and for your holidays in family, between friends or lovers.
