The house is situated on a mountainside and has spectacular views over the valley of San Miguel, relax in a beautifully landscaped garden, complete with palm trees and even swings for the little ones. A combination of all the comfort you deserve while maintaining the original style and charm and tastefully decorated with items from Asia. Other features include swimming pool (10m x 4.5m), chillout with balinese bed, BBQ, garage, alarm GPS, home osmosis water filter system for drinking water, dishwasher, washing machine, drier, TV plasma 42', DVD and satellite, internet wifi access, Winterthur home insurance, cleaning facilities, garden and pool maintenance, private access. Beautiful virgin countryside which can only be found nowadays in the extreme north of the island, the house is set in 5 acres (80,000m2) of private land, which is divided into terraces filled mainly with olive, carob and almond trees. Immediately surrounding the house is an immaculately kept garden with bouganvillea and palm trees, there are also many fruit trees from orange, lemon, cherry and fig to pomegranate, apricot and plum to name but a few! San Miguel village is 1 mile away, just 5 minutes by car or 10-15 mins walking, where you'll find all local amenities. Ibiza Town is approx. 10 miles away or 20 mins by car. Sta. Eulalia and San Antonio are also about 20 mins drive away. The closest beaches are Benirras, famous for it's sunset drum parties, and San Miguel Port, both of which offer excellent fish restaurants. The Saturday Hippy Market 'Las Dalias' in San Carlos is a 15 min drive away, and the Cala Llonga golf course is approx. 20 mins drive away.

Notes: There is wifi internet access so bring along your laptop if you can't bear to be completely out of touch with what's going on at home! The garden is fully equiped for young children, there's a slide and double swing, and the swimming pool also has a slide. To fully enjoy the island it's definitely advisable to rent a 4-wheel drive car, many of the beaches are accessed solely by bumpy dirt tracks. Although that said I get around fine in my VW Polo!

Golf: There is a golf course in Roca Lisa which is approxamately 20 mins away by car.

Restaurents: Ibiza is full of marvellous restaurents and many of them are very close to the property. San Miguel has one of the best Italian restaurents on the island, you'll find 'La Luna N'el Orto' in the village at the beginning of the road leading to the port. La Paloma, which has become extremely popular in recent years, is in San Lorenzo which is just 10 minutes away and Santa Gertrudis, which has a large range of bars and restaurents lies 10 minutes away in the other direction. Keep going and you'll find C'an Pou and then my personal favourite, with the delicious basque country cuisine 'Ama Lur'. If it's typical ibicencan dishes that you're after you'll find some of the best country restaurents on the San Juan road, Es Pins, Cana Pepeta, Balafí and Can Costa to name but a few, all are close-by and offer good value for money meals.

If you are looking for a romantic hide-away, then this is the ideal property for you. It is very remote and private set in a hillside away from the madding crowds. From the secluded pool you have a magnificent vista of rolling countryside and hills, the perfect place to watch some magnificent sunsets. The villa is very cosy and comfortable with all modern ameneties including a fast broadband connection. You will definitely need a car, but if you are a hardy walker then you might be able to do without. The owners are a family and they are very welcoming and helpful.
