The Chiarina studio is a tiny and cozy corner of Florence. It's a small accommodation just a few steps away from the Central Market, and it has just been bought in 2005 and totally restructured at the beginning of 2006. There's a sofa bed for two people, a small kitchenette and a nice bathroom. Air conditioning, cable TV and the being in the middle of one of the liveliest sides of the center make it a perfect base for a convenient and comfortable visit to Florence.

The Chiarina studio is located in a very convenient area of the center of Florence, because it's just a five minute walk away from the Santa Maria Novella train station. Guests can arrive with their luggage and get to the studio without taking any cab or bus. The street is via Chiara 4, a side street just by the Central Market of Florence, the most beautiful place to buy food in Florence and a tourist attraction in itself. San Lorenzo, with the Michelangelo sculptures, and the Duomo are less than five walking minutes away, and the rest of the center is in the best and easiest reach.

Four nights in Florence

We stayed in this studio for four nights in early July. We were met by Catina at the train station. Catina is very nice and she is very responsive to emails. The studio is small and basic but the location is great. All of Florence sightseeing is within walking distance. It is also right by the Central Market. We loved shopping and eating at the market.

Catina met us at the train station and brought us to the studio. (What a sweetheart!) The apartment was exactly as advertised. Agreed: Although small (but was quite comfortable for the two of us), it has all the modern conveniences and is very well located. The price was a good deal for Florence. This studio is only a 5 minute walk to the duomo and right next to the San Lorenzo marketplace and close enough to the station. Definitely, if we ever make it back to Florence, we hope to stay here again and recommend this property to friends.

Wonderful, Cozy Apartment in Florence

My wife and I stayed at this studio after a few months of hotels in Europe. It was a very welcome change. Catina met us at the train station and brought us to the flat. She is a very gracious and charming person, and the apartment was exactly as advertised. Although small, it has all the modern conveniences and is very well located...only a 5 minute walk to the duomo and right next to the san lorenzo marketplace. It was immaculately clean and had a small kitchenette. Florence is a wonderful city, and staying in this apartment made it that much better. If we ever make it back to Florence, we hope to stay here again.

Spent a week in this "apartment" which was an excellent location in Florence within steps of the busy and fun market, quick trot to the train and bus station. The apartment was very clean, cute, efficient, funky, modern taste. The price was most excellent for Florence and somewhat reflective to the "noisy" neighbourhood. If you were travelling alone or a couple with basic needs this is the spot for you. If you bothered by noise continue your search.

The owner was very nice, went out of her way, the place at the end of the day was really great home base. I would recommend it.

A small but perfectly acceptable apartment. For location, you couldn't be better - within minutes walking from all the best places. The owner is really helpful and enjoys meeting her guests. I would definitely recommend this property to friends.
