About JERRY HOGAN
Thats me on the left. I have been fishing the Smith river since 1980 and two buddies and I purchased one acre of land on the Smith in 1989. In 1990 we purchased a new double wide modular unit and placed on this acre. I grew up in the Bay Area and worked 30 years for AT&T. My wife and I met in high school and were married in 1960. I took early retirement in 1991 and moved to Crescent City in 1992. My four kids are grown and we now have eight grand kids. Upon moving here I got into the fishing business, owning a tackle store in Brookings, Or. In 1998 I started guiding for Salmon and Steeelhead on the local rivers, mostly the Smith. Now I am mostly retired except for managing and booking this vacation rental. During the off season garden, travel with 32Ft trailer, fish and visit kids/grand kids.
JERRY HOGAN purchased this house in 1990
Why JERRY HOGAN chose Gasquet
This is not like a lot of California. We have the ocean, the giant redwoods, the cleanest and clearest river in the U.S., the Smith of course. Our county of Del Norte has only 25,000 people and no polution.

Thank you for the nice place you have and renting it out. The redwoods are worth the drive to see. We have had a very nice vacation and will always remember this.
