Located in the heart of the Auge Valley on the top of a hill, this ancient building from 1860 renovated in the purest tradition offers a dominating view of the valley. It has half-timbered interiors, floor-tiles, original beams, all modern conveniences, a fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, washing machines and microwave), a wood-burning stove (wood offered), and a fluid electric heating. It is on five hectares of meadow with land registered spring in the hollow of the dale, stream and forest. It is close to the beaches (25 km away from Deauville and 22 km away from Honfleur and all amenities (village is 6 km away, market on weekends, supermarket and antique shops-second-hand markets). This self-contained house offers complete tranquillity and independence. You will find a parking under shelter for two cars. It is a perfect departure point for going on several walks. It is a very peaceful and bucolic setting. Nature is all around you!

Perfect cottage in wonderful location

Our second visit to this wonderful cottage. It has everything we need for a relaxing break. Beautifully presented to a high standard. Set in lovely private gardens. Everything is done so well, from the roses on the table to welcome us, to the soft towels rolled waiting for us in the bathroom. A good location for us, we visited Monets garden at Giverny again to see it in a different season.

Beautiful Holiday Cottage

We have just stayed at this very lovely holiday cottage and enjoyed our stay tremendoucly. The house is immaculatey clean, and beautifully decorated. The owner told us he had it all professionally renovated recently. We liked the well organised kitchen which had everything we needed for cooking our meals. Everything we needed in the kitchen was provided, and the bed linen and towels were high quality too, which made our stay very comfortable. The owner is a lovely man who has done a great job with this cottage and I would recommend it highly. It is in a beautiful area of countryside, with plenty of places of interest near enough to travel easily to by car. We stayed for 2 weeks with our 12 year old son (he slept on the sofa bed) who absolutely loved it there. It was a lovely relaxing holiday for us all.
