The Rock Cut Cabin is a small air conditioned 2 bedroom cabin that overlooks Lake Superior about 2 miles South of Marquette on highway US-41. It is nestled between two rock outcroppings and has a great view of Lake Superior. Just across the highway is a bike path that will lead you to Marquette beaches and around town on a paved pathway. In the winter time the pathway is a snowmobile trail that connects to the major trails. Great stone fireplace in living room with firewood provided. Marquette Mountain ski area 5 minutes away, city of Marquette 3 minutes away, Northern Michigan University and Marquette General Medical Facility are 10 minutes away. Television in living room and bedroom. Kitchen is equipped with all cooking utensils. Linens and towels provided. Hiking close by. Nice restaurants and shopping in Marquette. Includes charcoal grill.

This place is amazing! It is kept exactly how we'd keep a vacation home if it was ours....everything ready and waiting, minimal packing required. :) They even keep a blender, a crock pot, games, etc on hand for their renters! The highway can be hard to cross at times, but that is a small price to pay for the amazing views and the proximity to both the trail and to downtown Marquette. We loved it.

This is a great find in the Marquette area. It's very convenient to the town, plus for trips to Munising and beyond. It has all the amenities, plus some nice extras in the kitchen. The bed is comfortable and the living room nice to relax and enjoy the lake. We visited in April, so didn't have a chance to use the outside seating, but would like to come back to sit and watch the lake.

This is the second time I have stayed at the Rock Cut and like the first time, it was fantastic. Great location to everything and the price can't be beat. Hotels are nice but if you want to feel at home when you are a distance away from it, this is the place. Thanks again, I will see you again soon.

Waking up every morning to the awesome views of Lake Superior while sipping hot coffee was a treat! This cabin is cool, rustic, quaint, & charming. It suited our needs perfectly. Very small so easy to keep tidy. It was clean and stocked with all the basics in the kitchen so we felt very relaxed and comfortable. We will DEFINITELY rent this again
