This apartment is situated 12min from the beach, is full state of the art facilities plasma TV, outdoor heated pool and chilled in the summer there are 6 major hotels all within walking distance Sheraton, oasis beach, Ritz Carlton, le. royal meridian hotel and spa and the governor hotel with bar 44 and the world famous budda bar, also the marina is a short walk so all in all a great location for families or couples and 10 min in a taxi to snow dome, mall of the emirates, wild wadi water park.

Golf: The world famous Emirates golf course is only a 10min drive, also 4 other courses within 20 min drive.

Other Activities: power boat hire.

Just got back from Dubai and stayed in this apartment. It's everything they advertise really. Transfers to and from the airport ran like clockwork and they even went to the shop for water for me as it was 2am when we arrived. Apartment was clean and very spacious and much better than being stuck in a hotel room as we had our 2 kids with us (5 and 3). It's about 10 mins walk to the beach but it's a nice walk. The Marina walk which has shops, restaurants and the likes of costa coffee and starbucks are right on the doorstep. We were on the 26th floor overlooking the Marina which was good as you could not hear any noise (cars etc) because we were so high up (it has 47 floors in total). The lifts were reliable and took you straight to your door. No building work was going on around us as all the buildings next to us were finished. There was some unfinished buildings on the marina you could see but no one seemed to be working on them. Wherever you are in Dubai you will see cranes and unfinished buildings, you have to expect that. The malls are Massive but there are plentry of other things to do in them without having to shop (eat, drink, ice skate, skiing, play areas, aquariums etc). Atlantis water park was the highlight for us... it was superb and the mono rail had great views of the palm, as did the slides from the very top.

We have stayed all along the beach in various hotels over the years but tried an apartment for a change. Good decision as the location is superb. There is a great little supermarket on the plaza level that is well stocked and unless you are self-catering and not eating out at all then it is not necessary to do a big shop at the Mall. There is a choice of three pools that open and close at varying times so it is possible to swim either before breakfast or under the stars. We had a couple of hitches with the apartment but Vinny was brillaint as sorting things out. Book any trips with his driver, half the price of any hotel prices. The internet was a huge bonus.

Great apartment and superb location in DubAi

The perfect apartment: from Vinny's service to/from the airport, the size and location of the apartment, the balcony to sit and relax on after a day of touring, the grocery store, cafes and restaurants close by, the pool, and Alfie's description of the apartment/surroundings and his responsiveness to my questions was excellent. There were plenty of taxis available close to the apartment. We had one of Vinny's drivers take us to Abu Dhabi one day and that proved to be an excellent way to travel there. We would definately recommend this apartment and it's great location. Our visit to Dubai was most memorable and the apartment played a significant role in our trip.

Good Value for Money

We have just returned from a week in Dubai staying at Jumeirah Beach Residence Resort. We were picked up as per Alfie's instructions by a person called Vinnie. He was chatty, friendly and very informative.
The apartment was clean and well presented. The apartment was as described. The main bedroom in our apartment had a futon style bed, which may be a problem for some people who have difficulty getting up off the floor! However the second bedroom has two 'normal' type double beds if this posed a problem. The beach is very close by. Taxis are very easy to get outside the apartments. There is a small supermarket nearby, although you are paying for it's close location and it has limited choice. However the easiest thing is to jump in a taxi to the Mall of the Emirates where there is a big Carrefours so you can do a big shop there - only about 10 mins away in a taxi). One of our party has the use of a wheelchair, and did not have a problem getting around the apartment. We plan on going to Dubai in 1-2 years time and would definately stay here again!

what a location beach 5 mins loads of differant pools for the kids the promenard that is now open with all the shops and restraunts is brill,apt fantastic computer wi fi,x,box and the service from the airport ist class,also all the top hotels and marina all within walking distance,great holiday i will book again
